Good, sturdy table. Modern and looks good. Very heavy and the great thing is we did not have to assemble from scratch. Just put the legs on.

Fantastic buy
I bought the high gloss gas lift coffee table with sleigh legs. It was so easy to assemble as you only had to attach its legs. The stable is sturdy, beautifully put together and the gas lift is amazing and gently closes the table. Definitely worth the money and will add a little class to any living room.

Extremely Dissapointed
The product arrived with a defective stand; the holes on the desk didn't align with the stand. Additionally, there were several missing parts, leading to a very stressful experience. Both items are currently in the middle of my living room. The first attempt at collection was cancelled by Argos, and a second attempt is scheduled. I have decided not to make any future purchases from Habitat and/or Argos.

Well worth the money! super easy to assemble as all you have to do is screw the legs on, Lifts really high and feels very solid amd modern.

Beautiful looking and so practical!
I've been looking at this Habitat coffee table for some time now and finally got round to buying it this January. It's a great design, fits in with our other gloss white pieces and the lift-up top is perfect for eating supper - what more can you want? Also it was very easy to put together for us non-DIYers

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Habitat Sleigh Gloss Gas Lift Coffee Table - White: Width 1000 mm (remains unchanged). Depth 400mm (of lifted part). Height 680mm when lifted.

This item has not been designed to be used as a work desk and so we would not be able to comment on how useful this would be. It looks to be very low to be used as a desk and how effective this would be depends on the individual's requirements
