Brabantia Lift-O-Matic, 40m with ground spike, 45mm. Just set the dryer to your ideal working height (between 129 to 187 cm) and spin it around. This robust rotary dryer is fitted with 40 metres of quality, UV-resistant non-slip washing lines that are always taut. It has an eye at the end of each arm for clothes hangers, and a sturdy hanging loop for storage. Smooth turns - dryer arms turn effortlessly even when fully loaded with wet washing. It's sturdy, very easy to install. The ground spike certainly helps to avoid me It's sturdy and easy to assemble and install. The spike helps with easy installation. Lots of lines to hang up a big washing. It feels ghat the price is too high for the product.

Light and Easy to Push up
The spike that goes in the ground was difficult to get in especially as the ground was dry. I wouldn't have been able to do it myself. It was a very substantial spike and very sturdy. I wouldn't be put off having it for that reason as long as you know what to expect and have the tools and maybe someone to help. The line is light and easy to put up. I had a rotary line once before, it was a good quality one but heavy and very difficult to put up, I struggled with it every time. I've been looking for another one for a while but reviews put me off as they were also difficult. I went for this one because a couple of mature ladies reviews, such as myself said how easy they were to put up.

This is my first whirly washing line, I thought they could not be effective. I was wrong, this is brilliant! I can stand in one place to load the line, so I no longer have to risk the muddy lawn. We have had two full loads on the line with room to spare (ran out of pegs). If washing is staggered it all gets the breeze and is more effective than my old line as it is placed in a sunny spot. It is relatively compact so the washing doesn’t dominate the garden. Finally it can be easily removed when not being in use and is remarkably light to carry. Would recommend buying the cover, both for leaving in garden and storage.

SO EASY TO PUT UP
I BOUGHT THIS LINE BECAUSE I HAVE A BAD BACK AND ARTHRITUS IN MY HANDS AND WAS FINDING MY OLD LINE HARD TO PUT UP , THIS LINE IS A DREAM TO PUSH UP AND NOW DONT HAVE TO KEEP ASKING MY HUSBAND TO DO IT FOR ME

So easy
Bought this about a month and a half ago to replace an old, cheaper model. Wish I'd done it sooner, it's so easy to put up and take down and I don't have to waste time tightening the whole line every time. Also love the holes for hangers and the cap for the ground spike, such great ideas.

Great improvement on my previous rotary dryer
I bought this 3 weeks ago & am very impressed. It is easy to raise and take down. There is plenty of room between the lines and ample space for 2 full loads of washing. I had it installed as I was having my garden landscaped so cannot comment on that. The cap for the ground tube and does not interfere with mower. A good purchase.

The metal ground spike supplied with the Brabantia 40m Lift-O-Matic Washing Line with Ground Spike is designed to be knocked into the ground rather than concreted in using a concrete tube. Plastic ground spikes are normally concreted in. Please find below a link to our range of washing lines, some of which will have a plastic ground spike and concrete tube.
