Overall very pleased with my purchase.
Pros: Records on local SD card so no monthly charges. Rechargeable Li-on battery Can be powered / charged from existing 24v AC bell wiring if you have it Easy to install and setup and additional wedge included if you need to angle the camera. Separate wireless chime for doorbell function means anyone in the house knows if someone is at the door. Infrared night vision camera. Intercom facility. Smart looking design. Cons: As others have noted there is a delay from the camera sensing someone and a notification popping up on your phone. Probably only about 10 - 20s.

Solid doorbell with a couple of “why though?”
Bought this Reolink 2K Video Battery Doorbell and overall I’m really impressed. The build quality feels spot-on, it doesn’t look or feel cheap, and it was easy enough for my wife to set up, which says a lot because normally anything with an app results in at least one argument. The field of view is cracking, night vision is clear, and I’m genuinely surprised by how fast the notifications ping through to my phone. No delays, no faffing. The two-way audio is decent as well — not tinny, not robotic — and the packaging and included accessories were actually decent. Felt like I’d bought something worth the money for once. What I didn’t love: Even when wired to 24V AC, it still insists on acting like a battery-only doorbell, which is a bit pointless. If it’s got permanent power going to it, why is it still behaving like it’s living off AA batteries in 1998? It’s also not suitable for Home Assistant integration, which is a shame. The video feed drops after a short time, and it doesn’t support ONVIF or RTSP (or any of the usual protocols HAOS needs). So if you’re planning to hook this into a smart home setup, don’t. It won’t play nicely. Bottom line: Perfect if you need a battery-powered doorbell and can’t get wiring to your door. But even if you do wire it, it stays a battery version forever, which feels like a missed trick. I’ve since returned it and exchanged it for the Reolink 2K+ version, which actually does what this one should (or could) have done in the first place.

Great video doorbell
Great doorbell, fab picture and display. Super easy to install and looks great. Love that there's no extortionate monthly fee to pay unlike other well-known video doorbells 😁

Great for security.
Great for security. Fairly easy to install. I was a bit worried about how it would cope in the heat as the front of the house gets direct sunlight for most of the day but I’ve had no issues. The app is easy to navigate. Overall happy.

Brilliant looking door bell with chime
The Reolink doorbell is so easy to set up I had the other well known brand and this one is a lot better also the app is free so no longer have to pay yearly subscription you can chose to get notifications or a call to your phone if someone presses the bell the video is very clear at day or night also included is a plug in chime I found the app very easy to use 2 slight problems I have found is video can be ever so slightly delayed not a massive problem and I also don’t like that I can’t delete videos on app apparently it does just record over when full but I think an option to delete daily would be helpful overall I would recommend this bell and chime set

Reolink HD WiFi doorbell
I needed a replacement doorbell as the doorbell I initially had struggled with WiFi range. The Reolink doorbell did not disappoint. The box contains the doorbell, separate chime and also comes complete with 64GB micro SD. The device does need to be mounted using the backplate to be screw fixed into place but the instructions to do this are very easy to follow. Once installed the process to setup the doorbell is very well explained and the doorbell does have a lot of custom settings that can be applied. Privacy zones, quality level which it required if you have slow or fast internet connection. Notifications can be setup and sent to a mobile phone app. U This allows all seating to be configured from there. The WiFi pickup range is great. I have a stone built cottage and this has 3 ft walls and the doorbell manages to stay connected.

Overall good
Great video footage and clear vision but 2 niggles- the dock for it that holds it the wall seems to be loose, upon screwing to the wall it twists slightly and then the clips won’t secure it so we have had to tape it. We are using ours without the wedge. The catches could be better to reduce the risk of it falling out. The second niggle is that there seems to be a few seconds delay on the live footage. May not be a problem but I noticed it and now it bugs me. Other than those two things I think it is brilliant! East to set up and use and the app is good too!

Very good video doorbell working through WiFi
Brilliant door bell. Doesn’t sound too loud or annoying for a chime. Very easy to install and the app guides you through set up so smoothly and simply. Easy to set up account: and app is very easy to use.
