Faulty light
I bought this to replace my other Tower air fryer that I had for 4 years. The light didn't work so took it back to Argos and they ordered a replacement. Had to go back to Argos to pick it up. Again the light worked for about an hour and stopped. I e-mailed Tower who told us to take back to Argos as it was under warranty. Took back ordered another one. Yet again the light packed in. Took back to Argos for a refund. Will try another make. Disappointed as our previous Tower was brilliant. Wished Argos could have ordered a replacement on the phone rather than having to go back and forth to Argos shop.

12 ltr air fryer vortex oven
This is absolutely excellent. My older air fryer had a recall, so I opted for this with the voucher and paid the extra and so glad that I did. Its great to be able to see while cooking and to have a light is awesome. Only used it for a couple of days, but done bacon, chicken wings. made cup cakes and biscuits. Its truly the best.

Excellent airfryer. Bought to replace the old one that my mum has got. The only problem she has found is that the writing is too small on the instructions and recipe book, so I have had to enlarge and laminate the instructions for her. Capacity is great ideal for 2 , wouldn’t like to cook for more. Consistency of cooking is really good but wears with age, but what doesn’t 😂. Crisps food just right. Cooks evenly unless you use tin foil !! I’ve never used the preheat so can’t comment.

I bought this product a few days ago and I'm really glad how it turned out. I am very satisfied with its functiona ND the only thing I have a concern is the tightness in opening the door. It's not so smooth.

So good buying it again
Was gifted the previous version 6 years ago, used almost everyday. Was getting a bit tough to clean so went and bought the next iteration, which is just as good! Great set of useful accessories and achieves amazing crispiness! This one is easier to clean as well.

Tower T17128 12L Digital Air Fryer Oven - Black
The Tower T17128 has a Light ON/OFF button so you can manually control the interior light during cooking — it's not automatically on throughout the cycle.
You can press the Light ON/OFF key to turn the light on during cooking (e.g. to check progress), and it will stay on continuously until you press the button again or open the door.
Opening the door automatically turns on the light, pausing cooking; closing the door resumes cooking, and the light remains on until turned off manually.
