Replacing our old Tower air fryer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had a tower air fryer for about five years. Having found it to be an excellent product we chose another. The tower model gives us more counter space in our small kitchen. Easy to use and very affordable.

Needs a Preheat
I’ve just bought this and was very excited to use it. However, I don’t feel that it cooks as well as my single Vortx I swapped it for. I seem to be cooking things for longer. For instance I cooked some sausages and divided them to cook on bottom of basket and used the metal grill to cook some above. The ones on the bottom did not cook fully at the same time. In fact I had to program it twice with a total of 30 mins to get a good cook. Plus it doesn’t have a PREHEAT so have to allow that time…so I presume if I used the presets I would have to add on time. Not sure about this now. I easily used my previous air fryer and this probably takes some getting used to. Baked a cake and had it on for 40 mins and still soft on inside. Maybe I’m doing something wrong!! The power doesn’t seem to be there.

Bought this as a replacement for a traditional older air fryer. Saves space and once you've got the hang of it, it's good --- but different. Would buy again, just need to keep practicing.

Our old Tower or fryer was getting very noisy and not getting up to temp very well. So we decided to get a replacement and this thing is massive!!!! but because the compartments are stacked on top of each other it takes up less counter space so it’s a win win situation. Came with racks which is a good touch.

It’s Ok hard to clean
Bought this last July and it was good to start off with. Being used for my Airbnb and although I clean after each changeover and a deep clean it’s becoming very difficult to get everything off to the point now the fan at the back is encrusted with burnt marks (really hard to get to this anyway). The upper inside body has become that bad that I can now not even clean this. It’s been spoiled to the point (starch) that it’s impossible to get out and it now smells when you are trying to cook. The plate coating has rusted. I never use or supply a product that scratches this to wash. I’ve checked online and because of the starch coating I’ve been advised not to use as it will be a fire hazard. I have been in touch with Tower with the pictures and am waiting for a response. I don’t recommend

Space saving and excellent cooking results
My first Air Fryer. Dual baskets are placed on top of each other; as a result, they do not dominate the kitchen service. Cooks really well, and the 2 baskets are ideal.

No. There are holes at the back of each drawer. Only dry food can be cooked. I cant cook a chicken because all the juices run out of the back. Also unable to use any container because it blocks the air flow.
No the drawers are not solid all the way round. The back part of the drawer is open with airholes. The fan is at the back and blows through the holes to cook. When I cooked a chicken and opened the drawer all the juices spilled out the back of the drawer into the unit.
