Received these as a gift to replace my 8 year old Sony WH-H900n (also still going strong!). Sound quality is very good out of the box and excellent when refined to my taste using the equaliser in the app. Noise cancelling is absolutely superb. Very comfortable to wear even for longer sessions.

Lack of bass boost
Doesn't have bass boost like the sennheiser momentum 4 does, and it was the only reason I bought it, because I thought it would have punchy and loud bass, but it turned out that it doesn't have anything special about it.

Not fit for purpose
I was really disappointed with these headphones. The clamping force is far too strong, and after just 5 minutes of wearing them I developed a severe headache. I tried them on two separate occasions to be sure, with the same result. Unfortunately, this makes them completely unusable for me. Argos refused a refund because the item was opened and not in its original packaging, which I find unreasonable. There is no way to know whether headphones are comfortable or cause pain without actually wearing them. Comfort is a core function of over-ear headphones, and in my case the product is simply not fit for purpose. I am now out of pocket for a significant amount of money and stuck with headphones I cannot use at all. Buyers should be aware that if these cause discomfort, Argos will not accept a return once opened — even if the product is effectively unusable.
