Powerful
I bought this Iron to replace my old Russell Hobbs Iron, which I have had for around 6 years. I read the reviews before purchasing and although people said that you can't really see how much water you're putting into the iron, because the water tank is black, I still decided to go ahead and purchase it. That would be the only reason why I didn't give it 5 stars, as whoever decided to make the water tank black and stripey, should have thought it through first. Otherwise, I am pleased with it's performance so far.

Annoying
Recently had a Murphy Richard’s 13 years. Only bought a new iron as dropped this one and broken. This was less than half price and jumped at it. Picked up via click and collect. Opened the iron once home to use and disappointed that there was a chip in the plate. I would have thought that it would have went through some sort of quality control before being packaged. I returned the next day. Argos staff exchanged quickly and easily. The good thing for this iron is that it is light weight and long lead. Like many has already said, the water gage is impossible to read. No idea how that got signed off. The thing that is really annoying is that the crackling and gurgling when the iron sits up right. Gets annoying if you have a full basket of clothes to iron. I def wouldn’t pay full price for this.

Awful!
I am messaging to Argos about returning this iron as the worst one I have bought! The water leaks all over things being ironed regardless of what setting you have it on or whether steam is on or off, it is awful and I would not recommend! If I cannot swap this then I will have to buy a new one as I cannot keep using this one. Hugely disappointed.
