Light weight iron
I needed a new iron and bought the Russell hobbs 27090. Light weight but doesn't provide much steam and the water tank is very small. I have to fill it every 4 items. I wouldn't recommend.

Irons well but is heavy
Bought this as my old iron died. Love the extra long flex, makes ironing much easier, I always struggled with the old one. It is a large and heavy iron which I still struggle with a bit as it's predecessor was very light. It does iron well. I have yet to use the steam function. According to the instructions you can use it as a garment steamer. Youu will need strong arms, the weight will soon fatigue you.

Good price in sale
Bought recently during sale - 40% reduction. Needed an iron quickly as my old one just gave up. This works fine, nice long flex. Not great on very dry cotton/linens, Can't see water level as the tank is dark grey/black. Nice weight, not heavy. Not sure I would have been happy had I paid full price - in the mid £50.00. range. May have been tempted to return if I had paid full price.

Reasonably pleased with the iron, does what it is supposed to, feels good and not too heavy. However, it is near on impossible to see how much water is in the water tank! You can’t see when it gets to the max indicator or see when it is getting nearly empty. Would not recommend to a friend.

Glides through my ironing
I’m very pleased with my purchase of this Russell Hobbs iron. It’s simple to use and thanks to the titanium base, it glides through my ironing. It’s not to heavy and ergonomically friendly.

The Russell Hobbs 27090 Titanium Carbide Steam Iron does not have an automatic switch-off feature when left unused. It remains powered on until manually turned off.
