Perfect for reading, working and tinkering away, the clever Silby soft touch LED desk lamp has a flexible neck and head so you can direct the light to where you need it most. The touch sensor on-off switch on the base of the lamp offers 3 levels of brightness for the ultimate in task light convenience. And the tactile matte finish of the silicone adds a modern touch.
Comes with a pre-installed LED bulb so all you need to do is simply plug it into the wall (this one's mains operated) and hey presto! No additional bulbs required.

Could be better
Mostly ok and the 3 brightness settings are good but, the unit makes a loud buzzing noise when “full” brightness is selected. Also, when switched on, the default is to full brightness which is a bit rubbish and if you turn the light on in the middle of the night it’s a bit harsh! Personally I’d rather start low and work up (if required) to allow eyes to accommodate more comfortably.

Lovely little lamp
Good little lamp. Small in size, but gives enough light. Only I would like it starting with lowest brightness going up, rather than first touch gives the brightest light and following dimmers down.

Exactly What I Needed!
Been looking for a decent desk-lamp to help with my modelling projects and one of my friends kept sending links for desk-lamps that needed a second mortgage!! . On a whim, I popped into Argos in Dumbarton to have a nosey and found this wee belter of a lamp. The lamp is just a nice size for my workbench and the brightness is awesome! Great price too!

A Class G rating does not mean the lamp consumes excessive energy; it simply indicates that, compared to the most efficient lighting products available today, its performance is lower. For a small desk lamp, the actual energy consumption remains very low.
