About this product
You're setting up for a game in the garden. This Opti Basketball set brings court action to your outdoor space. It's got a backboard, hoop, net and a size 7 ball included. You'll be practising three-pointers and slam-dunks at home. Easy setup means you can focus on your shooting skills.
The backboard's made from tough polycarbonate resin for durability. Mount it using the three wood screws provided. The hoop attaches with four screws and nuts that come in the set. Everything arrives unfitted so you can position it wherever suits. There's a manufacturer's 1 year guarantee for peace of mind.

Cheap plastic rubbish backboard - don't buy
Backboard is rubbish - Cheap brittle plastic. It was chipped when it arrived, but I put it up and it broke within a day just from the ball bouncing on the ring. No slam dunks - my 10yo grandson couldn't reach it anyway. I had to mount the ring on a separate piece of 5 ply, which I fortunately happened to have and was the right size. If I had not had something suitable I would have returned the item, but my grandson was only staying a couple of weeks. The net is fiddly to fit so that it does not all end up on one side of the ring. The ring itself and the ball seem OK.

Very poor design
Very frail hoop and nuts making it so fragile, didn’t last 24hrs and the nuts fell apart. I wouldn’t recommend. Difficult to secure the net on the hoop and the net appears too small for the hoop. Poor design

Not worth the effort.
Wouldn’t bother with this. We mounted it on the wall exactly as instructed. One week later it was in bits all over the floor as the hoop snapped off the plastic back board. Now we have to go through the inconvenience of taking it all back off the wall again and returning to store.

Broken backboard
Grandson was so pleased with this set, but unfortunately within a week the back board had broken. Returned to Argos. It’s disappointing that it’s broken but also annoying as the time taken to put it up and then take it down again and having drilled holes in the bricks to secure it was a waste of time. Such a shame as like I say grandson was really pleased with it.
