Fabulous trimmer
Have used this a few times now and it worked really well It's good to get a battery and charger with it. Many sell them separately.

This is badly balanced so it is virtually impossible to have any control. I suppose it will be alright if you have upper body strength but for me it was a waste of money

Good design
I bought this for my partner, thinking that I could also use it because we have lots of large shrubs and high hedges that need trimming. Its mobile design is great. It has good reach and being able to angle the blade means you can cut the top of the hedge neatly without having to balance on a ladder. We do find it a little on the heavy side. My partner manages ok even though he is 76. He finds the body strap very helpful because it takes some of the weight. I am a bit younger. I have only used it once to trim quite a tall shrub which I managed to do much more neatly than with our old hedge trimmer. However, I did find it heavier than I was expecting. Probably not too much of a problem if you're younger and stronger than we are!

Heavy equiment
I bought this to trim the top of the hedges, although that it does the job but the weight is heavy and you need to take a break. The battery will be okay for the few minutes to complete the top of the hedge. The only reason I bought this it was cheaper and on sale.

Great item
Solid well made with decent battery life duration. Managed to cut 40m of hawthorn and holly hedging both sides to a height of approx 2m on one charge.would recommend having bought and had other great Spear and Jackson tools in the pst.
