I was initially impressed by the sound quality and battery life, and the noise cancelling is decent for the price range. They’re also very lightweight and comfortable for longer listening sessions. However, the overall build feels cheap and plasticy, which is disappointing given the price and Sony branding. The materials don’t feel premium and the headset doesn’t feel very durable, especially compared to other models in this range. They’re fine for careful home use, but I’d be nervous using them for daily travel. Great features and audio, but the quality of the materials really holds them back.

Well That’s a Lovely Surprise
Given the price, I had no real expectations of these headphones. However! I am very very happy with them. I have a serious wired pair by Stax which are quite simple awesome. So of course I told myself that this blue tooth pair would not compare favourably. They may not be the same standard BUT they are way better than I expected and perfect for the job. I can lay on the sofa and listen to an audio book or podcast and actually my music sounds rather good too. The clue is in the brand of course - Sony. The experts.

Great sound, length of charge is great. They are quite bass driven but could be better bass output if that’s your thing. The only negative is that they do not fold down so you need to be careful you don’t break them when in your bag it doesn’t come with a case either.

you from the surrounding noise, it doesn't apply to the receiver of the call: they will potentially hear background noise.

Noise Cancellation During Calls:
ANC is active, but ambient sound may still be heard during calls. This is due to a feature called Sidetone, which allows you to hear your own voice more naturally while speaking.
The microphones remain active to pick up your voice, and they also pick up some background noise. This means external sounds may not be fully blocked during calls.
