I bought this as a replacement for a much cheaper brand and model, which I’d had to return due to ground loop feedback. Because this RODE plugs direct into the lightening port, there is no ground loop feedback. Plus you get two microphones. Definitely worth paying the extra for the superior quality. Clarity and quality of playback is excellent.

No, The Rode Wireless Micro receiver has a built-in USB-C connector intended for phones. The Sony a6400 has a Micro-USB port that does not support USB digital audio input.

Hi John, the wireless micro USB-C will not work with the DJI Ozmo 4. It is for mobile phones or computers with a USB-C connection. there is also a lightning version.

The RØDE Wireless ME USB-C microphone can technically work with the DJI Osmo Mobile 4, but not straight out of the box—you'll need a few extra components and setup steps.
Here's what you need to know:
1. DJI Osmo Mobile 4 is a gimbal, not a camera
It does not have a built-in microphone input.
It holds your smartphone, which does the actual recording.
2. How to connect the RØDE Wireless ME
You’ll need to connect the receiver to your smartphone (not the gimbal).
If your phone has a USB-C port, you can plug the receiver directly into it.
If your phone uses Lightning (like iPhones), you’ll need a RØDE SC15 or SC19 cable (MFi-certified).
3. App Compatibility
Use a video recording app that supports external microphones, such as:
FiLMiC Pro
DJI Mimo
Native Camera app (depends on phone model)
4. Cold Start Issue (Important)
Some USB-C microphones, including RØDE and others, may not be recognized if plugged in before powering on the phone or app.
