I do recommend Sony ULT Field 3 for music at home
Bought as a Christmas present for my girlfriend (hope no kids are reading this - Santa exists). She really likes it. Well made. Looks like a quality product. Good quality sound. We use it to listen online radio from the phone. It has a function to limit max battery charge to 90% to extend the battery life. Tried to check if used with TV would give better sound quality - don't recommend for that purpose. For music and radio from your phone - just perfect!

The Ult field 3 doesn't disappoint. It feels the room with clear crisp sound and added bass with the Ult button. I personally prefer the sound with the speaker standing vertically in a corner at ear level hight. Using the Ult button was a given to begin with but I've grown to enjoy the speaker without it on listening to certain genres. If you like it loud id say the volume at 38 clicks is best but for quieter listening 24 clicks. Either way this speaker packs a punch for its size in any room or outside. I love my speaker and look forward to bringing in the bigger brother the Ult 5 later on in the year.

We had a Sony speaker at the holiday cottage we stayed in at Christmas. So impressed with the sound, we purchased one. We have only just got it today. Set up was easy and sound quality is fantastic.

No, the SRS-ULT30 doesn't have a random and repeat setting, as it plays what is being transferred from the connected device. However, you can start or pause music playback, and skip to the beginning of the previous, current, or next music track by following the steps here:

This is purely a Bluetooth speaker, so it'll play through whatever is transmitted via Bluetooth. If you're using your phone then you can set music to repeat or shuffle from the app you're steaming to the speaker.
