Best controller I’ve owned
Fantastic controller with so much customisation, I own the dual sense edge and the Xbox elite 2 controllers but this controller tops both

The Pro Controller for Demanding Gamers with total
I give it 4 stars for the following reason: the battery life and charge. I come from an Xbox Elite 2 Core, and I admit that the Revolution X outperforms it in competitive PS/TPS games that want to optimise every millisecond, adjust sensitivity, reduce dead zones, etc. The addition of the S1 and S2 buttons is perfect, although it takes a little while to get used to them. Great customisation: both hardware (stacks, crossbars, weights, triggers) and software/profile from the screen itself. If you like to adjust every detail, this controller allows you to do so quite well. Although I've only had it for two weeks, I have to admit that coming from a controller with rear sticks, it didn't take me long to get used to the rear buttons. In short: the Nacon Revolution X Unlimited is a very competent controller with lots of features, designed for demanding gamers. If you take advantage of what it offers — Hall sticks, configurable profiles, extra buttons, etc. — it's one of the best options on the ‘pro’ market for Xbox/PC.

Top notch high end gaming controller for XBox/PC
I have recently had the pleasure of using the Nacon Revolution X Unlimited controller for XBox and PC. Personally I have been using it with my gaming PC and haven’t used it with my XBox so my review relates to the former. This controller follows on from Nacon’s impressive and successful PS5 controller and it has also upgraded a lot of features since the Nacon Revolution X Pro. This controller is a high end licensed third party model and on unboxing it is presented in an extremely smart manner that immediately feels high quality. The contents come in a minimalist, quality black hard shell portable case which is rigid but very lightweight and contains everything in dedicated spaces. This includes the controller, two different D-pads, 6 numbered weights in pairs of 10g, 14g and 16g, a generous 3 metre USB-C cable which should be noted is a nice quality braided cable, a charging station, 6 joystick heads, 4 of which are convex and 2 of which are concave, the USB dongle, two pairs of metal joystick rings (to help reduce stick movement for increased accuracy in FPS games) plus a separate case for all the small accessories. As you can tell, the potential for customisation of this controller is seriously impressive and especially desirable for the more competitive or advanced gamer. A casual gamer or young gamer may well not need all of these accessories though. The controller may be a little large for very young gamer’s hands. One tiny gripe I had with the USB dongle is that once uncapped and plugged in the cap does not fit onto the top end of the dongle and there isn’t a dedicated space for it in the accessory box so store it safely or risk losing it! This is however a very minor point. Switching the controller on requires pressing and holding the Nexus button for 3 seconds. I make this point as this was not intuitive to me and I had to look it up. The controller switches off automatically when closing the PC or you can fast power it down by switching to wired mode. Pairing the controller to the PC required the download of the Nacon app in order to update the firmware and pair it with the PC. The update did take a while but the controller was then good to go and it was recognised in Windows Devices. If you want to customise the controller via the software you have to do so in wired mode which is worth noting. I really like the built-in screen on this controller, it didn’t feel like a gimmick to me and was both intuitive and displayed genuinely helpful information. It’s a really handy way to be able to configure the controller without needing to open up the software app. You can enable different profiles this way or rebind buttons very easily. You can easily change volume settings and vibration settings or see which profile you’re using. You can also control with the screen pairing the controller with a wireless headset via Bluetooth and you can pair the controller via Bluetooth or the included 2.4Ghz receiver. The screen is very fast and responsive and not overly complex. A top feature in my opinion. Personally I find the controller nice to hold with a lot of nice grip but some people may find it a bit too plastic for such a high end model. To me it feels very good quality. This controller is definitely one of the best I’ve ever used and it has so many positive features: There is incredible performance via PC where when used in wired mode latency is as low as 1m/s which is crazy good! The incredibly smooth Hall Effect sticks are of particular note as a major plus. These magnetic sensors don’t lose their accuracy over time and are increasingly popular due to the improved reliability they provide especially reducing issues with stick drift and narrower dead zones. It is worth noting that the buttons respond exceptionally quickly to presses and are the best buttons I’ve used on a controller. Equally the D-pad moves into position with both precision and speed. I found the battery life roughly consistent with what the manufacturers state, being around 10 hours or more if you use the battery saving feature. This does mean it needs more charging than some other high end models but for me 10 hours is a good few gaming sessions and not an issue and the magnetic charging dock being included and so neat and small which you simply place the controller on to, charging is really not an issue for me. It’s very easy to remove the panels on the underside of the grips if you wish to add extra weights. The thumb sticks and D-pad being swappable to shapes or heights you may prefer is another commendable customisation feature. The button layout is familiar with the traditional XBox arrangement of buttons. The XYBA buttons are nice and large. The top side has triggers and shoulder buttons and a pair of other buttons, S1 and S2. There are two other sets of buttons on the back too as well as lockable triggers. The rumble on the Revolution X Unlimited is powerful and gives a lot of feedback which helps with game immersion. This can of course be adjusted if not to your liking. The Software (in Windows only) is easy to use and convenient and offers more options than just the buttons on the controller or the screen options. It allows creation of different profiles with different configurations and different lighting effects even. This also means you can set up your controller with different set ups for use on different devices if you’re super organised! Equally it does come with some preset profiles. In summary this controller really feels premium both in the hand and in use and with all the included features and customisable options it really does compete extremely well with other high-end gaming controllers. I’m delighted to say after using this controller that it is a very strong contender for being one of the best PC controllers currently available as it is a fantastic all-rounder and as such can be highly recommended.

Without knowing more about the specs of that other controller to which you refer and the set up of the PC you intend to use it with, I’m sorry as I cannot give an exact answer or make a direct comparison.
From the information we have available, all the buttons and controls on this can be used with the PC and this controller can be set to be used either with a console or with a PC with different customizations/modes.
