Six drawers give you plenty of storage space, arranged as three on each side for easy access. The handleless drawers glide smoothly and quietly, creating a sleek, unfussy look. The matte white finish blends with existing bedroom furniture.
The drawers run on metal runners for smooth, reliable opening and closing through daily use. Each internal drawer provides space for folded items, underwear, accessories or seasonal clothing. The wood effect keeps the unit solid and stable. Wall-mounting brackets must be used to secure the chest safely to the wall and prevent overturning. Arrives flat-packed with clear instructions, two-people assembly recommended. Backed by a manufacturer's one-year guarantee.

Manufacturer doesn't care about quality, awful
Never seen a product so badly cared for during production. Not only were all of the pieces filthy and/or scuffed, but multiple errors, poor split edges, bubbles under the surface (not sure of technical terms or the process, but its like its been vinyl wrapped poorly). I got half way through unpacking it, disgusted in how dirty and the poor quality but I'd decided to keep it as I really needed the furniture.. until I discovered a split and I was no longer sure it would even survive the assembly process. Decided to return it which thankfully was a smooth process. Bought another of these in a different colour that I also returned without opening because I knew it wouldn't be worth it. 2 hours unpacking, cleaning it to discover it wasn't worth it and repacking for return. Wonderful waste of time. Please dont waste yours on this garbage! Note: scuffs shown in photos would not wipe off, it was permanent damage

Excellent buy
Bought to replace a long serving chest of drawers that was getting beyond its sell-by date. Wanted something of a specific shape and colour, as it would be set in a different location to the old one. Argos, as usual was our first port of call and we bought this one. It is capacious, ergonomically designed and very stable in position. The drawers glide perfectly and it has proved to be an excellent buy. My husband assembled it with no problem. We're well satisfied.

Great sturdy furniture
These drawers are very nice in my mums room they are good and sturdy. The draw r mechanism is so smooth . I got a joiner to build so can't say if its an easy build or not . They are lovely too look at and look so much more expensive than they are .

Those drawers were an absolute nightmare!! Took 3 hours to build.. did not close properly..damaged on some of the wood.. had to send back,,,had to unbuild them again and wrap them up! Driver was so rude when collecting and told me I was selfish as hadn’t wrapped them properly…. Absolute nightmare!!

Look great and seem good quality so far
Bought 2 a month ago to fit along a slopes ceiling for clothes storage. Some draws quite stiff to open at the minute but sure they’ll loosen up with use. Good solid quality, seem a bit more browny than black but suits our room as we’ve got dark wood and black accents anyway.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Argos Home Jenson 6 Drawer Chest - Black Oak Effect: The Top can hold up to 26kg, but the weight must be evenly distributed across the whole area.

The drawer bases are made from 2.5mm HDF and the internal dimension of the drawers are H130 x W543 x D385.5mm.
