Got this for an elderly relative who needed a very basic phone as they cannot navigate a smart phone . It’s excellent value and if like me you are looking at all the conflicting advice about the sim being Vodafone I can tell you it is an unlocked phone that can accommodate any small sim so my relative,s old phone was nearly ten years old and she has had no issues inserting that as it was on the 02 network . The phone just comes with a Vodafone sim in the box if you wish to use it . It does not have a charging plug just the lead so we needed to buy one . Argos however should Strive to make sure that the advisors who answer questions on products are all saying the same thing as I was unclear about this phone due to their advice . I’m sure an elderly person would be too .

Yes, you can turn off the internet browser on this phone by disabling the mobile data connection, which prevents the browser and other connected apps from accessing the internet.
