SIM PROBLEM
Buying this Nokia 110 phone was a frustrating experience and I subsequently had to return it to Argos. The phone itself seems to do what it says on the packet and although not as solid-feeling as some, was a relatively cheap and good-looking device from a company with a long reputation for providing proven, no-nonsense mobiles. At the time of purchasing and having read (misread?) reviews for this phone, I - perhaps naively - thought it would be quick and straightforward to change the SIM on this phone. On studying the blurb that came with this Nokia, I found it to be neither. The £19.99 price I paid should have been a clue maybe. The phone was intended to be an inexpensive emergency device. I decided to not try to undertake the seemingly deliberately complicated SIM-swapping process (which involved an up-to-14 days' wait, codes, etc., but I guess Vodafone aren't a charity) and simply returned the unused phone to Argos who were friendly and understanding. Ironically, I perhaps should have kept it and got into bed with Vodafone, as in the particular part of the country I live in - an eastern suburb of a major UK city aka Leicester - my current "Everything Everywhere"/largest UK coverage provider gives me abysmal connectivity at home and, according to my neighbours, have knowingly been doing so in my area for many years. So in conclusion, I don't think this is a bad phone, but - to me anyway - the SIM set up turned out to be more challenging than I wanted it to be and my 3 out of 5 star assessment has mainly been made on that basis.

A great value mobile phone
I purchased the Nokia 110 4G phone a few weeks ago and it has been everything I could have wished for. It is well built and the performance is top drawer. It has a good capacity battery and is easy to operate. I have got rid of my landline phone and now use this phone as my home phone. I save about £17.00 per month. The audio quality is high and you can even import your own ringtones. It was easy to set up the phone as I was able to import my contacts from my smartphone. All in all a great value mobile phone.

Exactly what was required - 4G, small and simple
My wife is very happy with the phone. It is a replacement for an older Nokia model (2G) and it replicates the simple operating features she was after but supports 4G which is the reason for getting the new phone Reception at our home is now excellent and the phone still fits into her small handbag.

Small and lightweight
Wanted a lightweight simple to operate phone with no internet and this is exactly what I wanted.

Major design fault
This phone has a serious fault. The keyboard makes a noise like space invaders every time you hit a key. You can't turn the keyboard noise off except by going to silemt mode, so then you don't hear your incoming calls or messages (the 'Meeting' mode does not completely silence incoming calls, but they are so quiet that unless you're holding the phone you don't hear them). Major design fault - you need to be able to silence the keypad without silencing the rest of the phone's functions.

It is a handy size.
It is hard to hear people when they call me. The line breaks up and text storage is very limited
