About this product
The Savoy Dining Set gives you a proper dining table and four chairs without taking over your kitchen or dining room. It's built for smaller spaces where you still need somewhere to sit down for meals, but don't have room for furniture that stays in the way all day. The four chairs fold away and store inside the table itself when you're finished, so you get the floor space back. There's an integrated drawer for keeping cutlery, placemats or serviettes close to hand. The drop leaf extension pulls the table out from 80cm to 120cm wide when you need extra room for guests or a bigger meal.
The hardwood frame keeps everything stable and supportive through daily use, with a natural lacquered finish that protects the wood and wipes clean after meals. The table top is real wood veneer that shows the grain patterns, while the low sheen white and natural finish works with most kitchen styles. Four chairs included, each with its own folding mechanism that tucks neatly inside the table frame. Simple self-assembly required, two people recommended for easier handling. Easy to put together and looks great. Delivery was a major let down. It took 5 attempts to deliver. 2nd attempt driver and van turned up with no table.

Smart little table
I found the instructions a little confusing, but I was able to put the table together myself. It arrived well packaged although there was a little chip in it, but not enough to pack it up and return it. Small and compact and looks good in my kitchen. My only complaint is the chairs are not hugely comfortable and a smaller than I anticipated. Having said that, I am very pleased with it and it is a great little table that looks great.

Bought this for extra table space this Christmas. Came in more parts than anticipated. Table too dented and overall build not very good for the price. Wouldn’t recommend as a permanent table.

Poor quality
I bought this set for when we had extra guests. Unfortunately the quality of manufacture and finish is very poor. The first set that was delivered had a damaged table top and credit to Argos they quickly arranged a replacement.The second set that arrived was poorly made and the dowel pins did not align with the correct holes - I had to spend a lot of time cutting off the dowel and gluing the table sides to the top - it has left a gap but cannot be seen under the table. The quality assurance at Julian Bowens must be very poor to have 2 defective sets out of 2.The quality of the materials, construction and finish are all poor and these sets are not worth the money.

Great space saving table
I bought this table a few weeks ago and absolutely love it. Not being blessed with space in my house, this neat little table fold up nicely with the chairs inside but provides a lot of space when fully unfolded to sit 4 people comfortably and 6 people at a bit of a squeeze

Very pleased with this versatile table and chairs which takes up little space when folded down. Only downside, was missing two bolts and one handle has damaged screw thread (screw thread is short, so does not meet screw), the two bolts arrived within 2-3 days, still waiting for handle 3 weeks after delivery of table, disappointing hence deducted 1 star
