Reliable Budget Charger That Holds Up Well
I picked this up as a spare charger for my Switch setup, and honestly, it’s turned out way better than I expected for the price. First thing I noticed was how straightforward it is. Plug it in, connect it, and it just works—no weird setup, no compatibility issues. I’ve used it both handheld and docked, and it powers everything without any fuss. That’s a big deal because some third-party chargers can be hit or miss with the dock, but this one handled it fine. The cable length is actually decent too. At around 1.8 metres, it gives you enough flexibility to sit comfortably without being stuck right next to the socket. I’ve used it in different rooms and even while travelling, and it’s been really convenient not having to keep unplugging my main charger. Performance-wise, charging speed feels pretty much on par with what I was used to. It keeps the console charged while playing and works properly in TV mode, which is exactly what I wanted from a backup adapter. It’s also handy that it uses USB-C, so I’ve ended up using it for other devices too. The plug and main brick feel solid enough—no rattling parts or cheap creaking plastic. I’ve chucked it in a backpack a fair bit and it’s held up fine, which is usually where cheaper chargers start to show weakness. The cable is also reasonably thick and hasn’t frayed or kinked easily, even after being wrapped up and moved around a lot.

Power to the People
Saved Santa's bacon when he delivered a switch 2 without the UK adaptor, rather the EU version. This, though not the official Nintendo version does the trick & charges the switch perfectly well, but at a marked down price. So Happy Santa.
