About this product
An ottoman bed frame that stores bedding, spare pillows, and out-of-season clothes under the mattress. The lift-up base reveals a deep, fabric-lined storage area to protect your items. A gas-lift mechanism makes lifting the mattress smooth and manageable, so you can access your things easily. Sprung wooden slats support the mattress and add flex for comfort. The upholstered frame is covered in durable linen-look fabric that handles daily use well. A buttoned headboard and silver feet give it a classic look for most bedrooms. Sized as a double, it comfortably sleeps two.
The steel frame keeps everything solid and stable, and the fabric lining inside stops items from snagging or getting dusty. The headboard comes with fixings and attaches securely to the frame. There's five centimetres of space underneath, enough to run a hoover through or tuck slippers out of sight. The end-lift design means you access storage from the foot of the bed, so you can place it against a wall without blocking the mechanism. Self-assembly required, and two people make the job easier. Superior product
I purcheased this ottoman bed shortly after purchasing a similar one from a nationwide chain. I assembled them days apart. The pricings were similar but I have to say this one from argos is superior in its construction and components used. One of my main concerns was the amount of storage so I chose one with the highest base and less obstruction from the moving parts. Very pleased with this purchase

We bought this bed and mattress via Groupon and are pleased that we did as for the price it’s very comfortable and handy to store underneath. The only issues we had were that it wasn’t advertised that it was a self build so we were a bit surprised when it arrived and unfortunately the measurements were for the bed base and not the headboard (being the widest part) so it didn’t fit the original gap between our fitted wardrobes but after some tweaking we were able to make it fit. The bed and base are very sturdy the only negative is that we found the black sheeting provided to go beneath the base was a waste of time and haven’t used it, but we’re still able to store plenty underneath it just means that it’s sitting on the floor which isn’t a problem.

Brilliant Bed!
Had been looking for an under bed storage bed for a while, came across this one and loved how it looked. Delivery went so well and they even helped my husband with it upstairs. Assembly was smooth, would recommend watching the video first, it makes the picture instructions a bit more understandable but easy to follow and can rewatch if unsure. We got the lighter one and it’s a lovely colour and material is good quality! I did get the mattress as well and it does the job but do think we’ll be looking to get a slightly larger one as it moves down a tad. Not a negative just a personal preference.
