Great Stylish & Sturdy Barbecue
I bought this a month ago & we've had some great barbecues already. I researched a lot & decided to pay the bit extra for the Outback Mercury. I haven't been disappointed. Not only is it well made, it looks great too It cooks food beautifully. We love the warming rack as well as the lid with the temperature gauge. Fabulous product.

Replacement for worn out Putback
Bought as a gift for son as old one wore out after many years. He’s happy with it. Used for Pizzas so far, doesn’t want to dirty it just yet. But very pleased.

Poor customer service
Bought this BBQ to upgrade from another brand. Putting it together one of the bolts has a missing head. Contacted Outback customer services via warrantee claims. never had a reply.

I first came across this brand in a different store and was immediately impressed by the wide, porcelain-coated grilling grates, they really stood out. I also liked the built-in pizza stone in the center, which seemed like a great feature at the time. Overall, it felt like better value to buy this BBQ with the pizza stone included rather than purchasing a separate BBQ and pizza oven.
We chose to buy from Argos because the price was similar to other retailers, and the convenience they offer made the decision easy for us.
Now that we’ve used the BBQ quite a bit, I can say I’m absolutely thrilled with it. It’s high quality, easy to clean, and very reliable. That said, after using the pizza stone, I do think it’s a bit of a gimmick, you could easily achieve the same effect by placing your own pizza stone on standard grates. Still, it’s a great BBQ overall, and I’m very happy with the purchase!
