About this product
This carbon monoxide alarm sounds an alarm when the concentration of CO is too high. It has a BSI mark and a high-quality sensor with a 10-year lifetime. CO is odour and tasteless and can be deadly. Always be warned in time of too much carbon monoxide, thanks to the carbon monoxide detector. The 85 dB alarm sounds when the carbon monoxide concentration is too high.

Does it’s job but taking the back off is fiddly
As a carbon monoxide device it does its job and is fine. But, set up was daft - no idea how to actually take the back off to get to the batteries. Ended up breaking it as there is nothing in the box or online. Wouldn’t buy again, but it does the job.

It hasn't sounded the alarm, and we haven't suffered CO poisoning. I assume it would if we were, which is the point. What can I say other than that the alarm is easy to install with the detachable mounting plate, onto which the unit slides with consummate ease. The blinking light reassures me that the silence of the alarm is not due to lack of power. The test button is ergonomic, large, and depresses easily, immediately sounding the alarm before springing back to give merciful relief to the ear of the user. Our lives are in its metaphorical hands, as yours can be for the advertised price. Oh, and the plastic packaging popped open, rather than requiring a bandsaw to bypass the typical welded edges. If I wanted another alarm I might well return for this model; make of that what you will.
