Good board, bad cover
Its a good ironing board, let down by a poor cover. The board is a good dimension and height, but the cover is too spongy and comes off the board too easily, especially when ironing linen. I shall be replacing the cover with a Minky

Habitat extra wide ironing board
Took a chance on this habitat extra wide ironing board as I have bought the equivalent Minky boards past three times. They seem to last a maximum of three years and just come apart which I believe is a relatively short time considering I am ironing for one! This habitat board feels sturdy and well made, only negative is that the cover is loose and a bit wrinkly, but of course that can be easily remedied with a new cover. It is slightly heavier but manageable and easily supports my steam generator iron. Time will tell but after using it a few times, I definitely would recommend it.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for Habitat Extra Wide 120 x 45cm Ironing Board - Silver.
The iron rest on this model is designed for steam stations and has a larger size. Its dimensions are approximately 43 cm wide and 29.9 cm deep. If the cordless iron’s base fits within these dimensions and can sit securely on the rest, it will not be a problem.
