About this product
Get through your ironing pile with ease using the Philips Series 2000 DST2020 80 Steam Iron. Ready in moments, this iron provides steady steam with an extra burst of power when you need it, tackling creases on everything from everyday cottons to delicate fabrics. The ceramic soleplate glides smoothly across all ironable materials, whilst 4 steam settings let you tailor the output to whatever you're pressing. Lightweight and comfortable to use, the water tank gives you decent coverage before needing a refill.
The Calc Clean function keeps your iron working like new by preventing limescale build-up, while drip stop technology protects garments from water marks. The vertical steam function freshens hanging clothes and curtains without taking them down. Lightweight, easy-to-use Philips 2000 Series iron with good steam, quick heat-up, and smooth glide. Ideal for light to moderate ironing; some find cord short and water tank small.

Lightweight iron
Got whilst on sale to replace last iron (Sainsbury's own brand) that had decided it did not want to iron any more. This does not have such a large water tank, but on the plus side it is see through - unlike the last one which was blue! - so easy to view when full, and if doing more than a small pile it does need refilling mid iron. Don't think the sole plate area is as large either, but not too bothered about that for the once a week iron that I do. Smooth glide over items and button slot feature is good, but as lightweight, which is nice, it takes more pressure to remove creases from cotton items. Cord not as long as previous iron but just stand nearer to the socket. One steam level only - to steam or not to steam - apart from the vertical steaming option and the cleaning the iron steam. Overall quite happy for the amount of ironing that it is used for so can put up with small niggles.

Lightweight Philips Steam Iron
I have only used it twice so far and have not experimented as yet with the steam function. The iron is lightweight and very easy to use and seems to remove surface creases comfortably.

Light weight, good performer.
I bought this as I was finding my previous iron too heavy. Although it is small and light and easy to manoeuvre it really perform well. Very good value for money.

Great no nonsense iron
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very good basic iron, and lightweight. It glides across fabrics easily and easy to use. The different functions are easy to select using the wheel under the handle, and the modes can be selected from the toggle at the top. It takes very little time for the iron to heat up and this is clear by a red light that shows up during heating. It's a fairly small iron, so not a huge amount of water can be stored, and this may mean that it requires multiple refills, but the refilling is easy - just pop open the cap and pour it in to the limit. It also has a self-cleaning function which forces steam out of the nozzles to dislodge any limescale.

Stylish
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really lovely iron, glided smoothly and was great at removing the creases, ceramic bottom keeps the base hot giving a good overall iron and steam release. I'm an absolute rubbish ironer so this really helped me to make the job easy and succsesful without being too stressful Design is sleek and stylish and I would definately recommend this product to friends and family

Philips Steam Iron
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m not a fan or ironing! But this iron makes the chore easy. Just pop some water in, and pick from the multiple modes - dry ironing, eco, two steam, three steam…then get to ironing. Got the creases out of my trousers so quickly!
