Constantly break!
I have had three of these in the past five months and all have broken very quickly. Very disappointed. I have also emailed to see about the guarantee that comes with them and have had no response. Very unhappy and wouldn't recommend!

5 Stars for Function: This steriliser is brilliantly fast and easy to use. It genuinely simplifies newborn feeding routines and significantly cuts down on prep time, making night feeds much smoother. 0 Stars for Safety: Unfortunately, the convenience of this product was completely overshadowed by a severe safety failure. The unit, or its supplied cable, developed an electrical fault that resulted in smoke and fire damage to nearby kitchen items during the night. The incident was terrifying, as serious consequences were narrowly avoided. The potential fire risk is incredibly upsetting. While the steriliser's function is excellent, its structural safety is highly questionable. I sincerely hope this was an isolated manufacturing defect.

Sterilises but not re-useable!
Bought this for my nuby rapid cool (which says it takes three hours before being able to re use between each use) and this product made it sound as if this was a quick solution. This product sterilises (as it says) within two minutes but that does not mean the nuby rapid cool is ready to be used again within that time. You still need to wait three hours. Ended up buying two rapid cools and tag team them.

Just what we needed
Bought this is conjunction with the nuby rapid cool. I do agility competitions out in fields with my dogs and needed a way to sterilise the rapid cool whilst away from set up at home (Milton Bath). Easy and straightforward to use. Surprisingly large amount of uses before recharging, and recharges really quick. The nuby rapid cool lid can't be sterilised in the Milton bath because of the battery so this has become our default for sterilising the rapid cool even when at home!

We were using Milton tablets to sterilise our Rapid Cool prior to this but this has been a game changer - especially on the go. Sterilises in minutes and you’re good to go again. So compact too - fits into any bag or neatly on the side at home.

The supplier has advised the following for the Nuby Rapid Steriliser - White:
"The RapidSterilise is designed to sterilise the RapidCool flask and digital lid simultaneously. We recommend placing the RapidCool flask on a flat surface, then positioning the RapidSterilise directly on top (please avoid screwing or twisting it onto the flask, as this could potentially damage the unit), adding the digital lid to the RapidSterilise, and then pressing the 'on' button. The sterilisation process will then commence and last for 60 seconds."

“ UV sterilisation of any description is not listed on the NHS website.
I can confirm all Nuby products comply with the requirements of the applicable European safety standards, and for validation purposes, they are independently certified by international test facilities. ”

Hi there
The Nuby Rapid steriliser uses light and not steam to sterilise, therefore there is no risk of burning or cooling down once used. Wipe clean with a damp cloth and let it air dry, no soaking, no submerging

Keeping your RapidSterilise clean is simple:
✔ Wipe it down with a damp cloth only and leave it open to dry.
🚫 DO NOT soak or submerge in water.
🚫 DO NOT use bleach or harsh cleaning agents.
