Set includes Diamond cricket bat, stumps, bails and a soft tennis/cricket ball in a durable carry bag. This Size 3 bat is perfect for someone whose height ranges between 4ft 6 inches and 4ft 9 inches. Bat - To be used with soft ball provided, not suitable for use with a hard cricket ball. Ball supplied similar construction to a tennis ball but with a lower bounce. Perfect for the junior player to maximize their enjoyment of the game.

My 6 year old son suggested we get a cricket set after playing for the first time with a friend. G&M is a brand I remember well and while this isn't a "proper" bat that can hit heavy balls, it's perfect for an introduction to the game. We've played dozens of times over the last few weeks and there have been no complaints about the kit from any of the children. I'd definitely buy it again if I was looking for a starter kit.
