The headphones arrived the day after I placed the order with Argos. They were nicely presented in a cardboard sleeve around the box. The sturdy box opened to reveal a hard zipped case containing the headphones. A flap inside opens to reveal the 2 leads - one stereo jack, and one charging lead. I keep the headphones in the case each time I take them off to keep them safe. The headphones fit my head perfectly without needing to adjust them, but can be made bigger easily. In order to start using them, I downloaded the app, and off I went! They hug my ears perfectly thanks to the cushioning, and immediately blocks out some noise, but when the music plays through them, that’s when I realise why they’re high-end. I can’t hear anything else that’s going on around me. The sound is amazing, there’s no doubt about it. I love the way that the music pauses when I take a headphone from an ear (if I want to hear or talk to someone) The only downside I would say is the buttons on the side, for skipping tracks, adjusting volume etc, are not easy to feel, and I end up taking them off to see where the buttons are. This may get easier with time.

Excellent quality headphones.

My headphones arrived just over two weeks ago. The box was quite damaged, but thankfully they were nicely protected inside. The headphones box looked professional and it’s nice that they come in a hard case. The headphones are fairly intuitive to use and the sound quality is exceptional. I’ve used this for both music from my phone and also to watch television. I love the noise cancelling features. There are three different modes. The first one is “off” where they act like a pair of ear mufflers. When the sound cancelling is on, but no music is playing, it definitely deadens the sound from outside. The third setting is where the microphone on the exterior enables you to hear what’s going on around you. This is a very useful feature if you want to be aware of your surroundings. I really like the design, the exposed cord leading down to each earpiece is a lovely detail. They connect automatically to my phone and to my television as soon as I turn it on. These are expensive but they are very well worth it for the sound quality. I’ve used these for many days now and they have still not had to be charged, so the battery life is excellent.

Amazing sound quality

I am just so impressed by the Px8 S2 from Bowers & Wilkins! From the off, the unboxing experience is great, you know you have just bought a high quality product, it's exciting looking forward to using them. The carry case is plush, the hidden storage for wires, then the headphones themselves just say quality, attractive design which feels like it will stand up to daily use. The headphones have a lovely soft leather padding to the headband and ear cups so are great when wearing for long periods- great when you work from home, for travel, long walks. The sound quality is amazing, connecting them to the TV gives a cinematic experience & the noise cancelling works a dream- blocks out the sound from my walking pad so I can get my steps in while watching my favourite films. I have heard new tones and dynamics in my favourite music which I never knew was there, my listening experiences have been given an instant upgrade. The app is easy to set up and use, add all your devices for easy connectivity & choose original recording settings or choose your own EQ settings. Did I mention the battery life? Also amazing... up to 30 hours.

Excellent quality at a price

The Bowers & Wilkins Px8 S2 are really nice headphones. They feel premium with soft leather, aluminum, and a comfy fit. On my head, they were snug and perfect for long listening sessions, but on my partner’s head they felt a bit tight. The ear cushions are soft, so they’re comfortable overall. Sound-wise, they’re fantastic—with decent bass ,highs are clear, mids are smooth, and vocals sound really natural. They connect easily to different devices, so switching from phone to laptop is super simple. The app lets you tweak the EQ, though it can be a little glitchy sometimes. Noise cancellation works well without messing with the music, and transparency mode is handy when you need to hear what’s going on. Calls come through clearly too. Battery lasts around 27–30 hours, and a quick 15-minute charge gives about 7 hours of playtime. That said, they’re pricey, and while they sound amazing, they probably don’t fully justify the high cost. Still, if budget isn’t an issue, they’re comfy and enjoyable.

The way music should be experienced

New to the Bowers & Wilkins Family Heard great things from this brand Took the leap and purchased their latest release I was instantly in shock on how amazing the sound is from these headphones I was hearing parts/instruments of songs I was not aware of The words in the vocals were so much clearer Bluetooth connectivity with devices was a little difficult at first Wasn't used to the controls on the actual headphones to connect But once I installed the official Bowers app on my smartphone I finally got the connection No issues since Noise cancelling really blocks out the surroundings Especially great when on public transport i.e the Tube There is always a feature called Pass-Through Which allows in some ambient noise from your surroundings So you can still have awareness of your surroundings Battery life is impressive Lasted me a couple of weeks without charging This is with a mixture of noise cancelling on and off The design is so stylish Love the colours used and style Feel so lovely Are just so comfort on The pads fit around my ears perfectly No bleed on the sound Padding & weigh around the ears is just perfect So my ears never hurt from the long periods of wear Very impressed with my 1st Bowers & Wilkins product

I love these.

I have been using these headphones everyday for 2 weeks and I love them! When I first got them I opened the packaging and thought they looked really smart and high quality. However, they do not come with a charger! I like that they are adjustable for comfort but are not super clunky and heavy so I will be able to use them for travelling. I went for black as I’ve had white earphones before and they show up dirt. The leather around the ears is faux so I’m hoping they will stand the test of time and wear well. The sound quality is great and is so much better to listen to music from them then through my phone speakers. My favourite feature of them is the noise cancelling, they are great when I’m at the gym and I look forward to testing them on a panel. I believe they will cancel out the engine noise and therefore I should be able to sleep better. In 2 weeks I have charged them once and that’s from out the box. I’m not sure how many hours you get from them but I’ve not had to charge them much at all.

Excellent Sound Quatlity

I was in the market for noise-cancelling headphones for both work and leisure, and luckily, I came across the Bowers & Wilkins PX8 S2. The sound quality is fantastic & music is crystal clear and well detailed, with superb bass and a nicely balanced overall sound. The noise-cancelling works very well, whether you’re in a public space, a busy office, or just relaxing at home. It effectively reduces background noise, making listening more enjoyable. I don’t need to recharge them often, as a single charge lasts a long time, around 20–30 hours depending on usage. They are very comfortable to wear, and the music sounds amazing. When I first tried these headphones, I was impressed by the build quality and how well they fit my ears. They also support multi-device connections and are easy to manage through the dedicated app. I really like the intuitive button controls for powering on and adjusting the volume. The headphones come with a black hard shell carry case, a USB-C charging cable, and a USB-C to AUX cable for connecting to a phone or laptop. Overall, the newer PX8 S2 model is very comfortable, built to last with soft Nappa leather, and delivers excellent sound with outstanding noise-cancelling performance.

Fantastic Headphones!

These Bowers & Wilkins Px8 S2 are well designed and built for the users. They are super comfortable to wear and aren’t heavy and weighted like some brands. The finish on them is excellent, and you can tell the greatest of care has gone into the design, usability and features. I have worn these on long commutes, whilst working, in the gym and when walking outdoors. They are comfy for wearing for long periods of time and remain firm on my head without the worry of them falling off. The Bluetooth connectivity works seamlessly with these headphones and I found it straightforward to pair with my iPhone, my laptop and my Bluetooth receiver for my Denon sound system for listening to my vinyl records. Battery life is good, up to 30 hours on a single charge which is more than good enough for my usage. They do have fast charge capabilities as well to boost the battery - 15 minutes charge provides a good 6 hours playback time. The pause/start button on the right ear is raised (not smooth like the others) which clearly allows you to identify the button quickly. Overall I love them!
