About this product
The Argos Home Bertrum Guest Bed gives you a practical spare sleeping solution when friends or family stay the night. It's a space-efficient design that handles overnight guests without needing a dedicated spare room. The trundle bed slides out from underneath the main bed and locks into place quickly, so you're ready for visitors in moments. Both beds have open coil sprung interiors with deep quilt damask covers that provide comfortable support. The upholstered fabric finish gives both beds a coordinated look that works in guest rooms, children's bedrooms or studio spaces.
The main single bed fits a standard single mattress, while the pull-out trundle tucks away neatly when not needed. Castors let you slide the lower bed out smoothly, then you lift and lock the legs to create a stable second sleeping surface. The headboard adds a finished look and keeps pillows in place through the night. The divan base provides durability and support for everyday use. Both mattresses are included, so everything's ready to go. Minimal assembly required with two people recommended, all fixings provided.

Neat size, missing headboard fittings
Received this a couple of weeks ago. Not been used yet as for a guest room/office. On arrival I assembled what I could but couldn’t work out how to fix the headboard. On further investigation there are no stickers to indicate fixing position or holes to be found anywhere on either end of the base to attach it with provided screws. Disappointing. The bed itself seems a good design and the trundle bed moves in and out easily. Mattresses feel ok.

We purchased this for our daughter, as she often has friends staying over or family visitors stay in her room (it's biggest!) It's brilliant! Even the pull out has had kids and adults comment on how comfy it is. We shall be purchasing more for our sons eventually too!

It’s what it is!
I purchased this in 20% off sale so price was reasonable. It’s not the best quality and I doubt it would stand up well to everyday use but for occasional guest-use it’s fine.

Beds for Spare room
We bought this over a month ago and have set them up in our spare room for the grandchildren. They are space saving as we also use the room for crafting. The grand daughter said the bed was very comfortable.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Argos Home Bertrum Fabric Guest Day Bed with Trundle-Natural: if you feel along you should feel an indent where the T-nuts are, this should line up with the HB struts. If you carefully pierce the fabric with a small bradawl or screwdriver this will help locate them too.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Argos Home Bertrum Fabric Guest Day Bed with Trundle-Natural: The simple answer is yes, the Bertrum underbed is total separate from the platform (top bed) and can be used either as a trundle (where you don’t extend the legs) or next to the platform for a wider bed.

I have the same issue. My base arrived with no stickers. I eventually cut into the fabric in line with the headboard supports. There is no hole at all to fit a headboard in my base. Please advise what resolution you have for this.

Full assembly instructions are provided.
There should be headboard fixing holes marked with stickers that need to be pierced with scissors. The headboard bolt is then put through the plastic washer into the hole and loosely tightened, allowing space to slide the headboard strut in between.
