About this product
The Bertrum Guest Bed is a great spare sleeping solution when visitors stay over. Space saving and smart. When not being used the guest bed neatly folds in and slides back underneath the main bed. Both mattresses have open coil sprung interiors and comfortable deep quilt damask covers. Generously filled with soft white polyester fibre. The Bertrum comes complete with the single divan, mattress, a separate fold out guest bed with additional mattress and headboard. And all upholstered in matching fabric.
The divan base perfectly complements the mattress, with its smart design, durability and practicality.
Quick and easy to use, simply slide out and lift to lock the legs in place.

Great bed
We purchased this for our daughter, as she often has friends staying over or family visitors stay in her room (it's biggest!) It's brilliant! Even the pull out has had kids and adults comment on how comfy it is. We shall be purchasing more for our sons eventually too!

It’s what it is!
I purchased this in 20% off sale so price was reasonable. It’s not the best quality and I doubt it would stand up well to everyday use but for occasional guest-use it’s fine.

Beds for Spare room
We bought this over a month ago and have set them up in our spare room for the grandchildren. They are space saving as we also use the room for crafting. The grand daughter said the bed was very comfortable.

Basic but Fine
Cheaply made on the inside but looks OK on the outside. Quite a firm mattress. We use it on average 3 nights a week and it gives a comfortable night's sleep.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Argos Home Bertrum Fabric Guest Day Bed with Trundle-Natural: The simple answer is yes, the Bertrum underbed is total separate from the platform (top bed) and can be used either as a trundle (where you don’t extend the legs) or next to the platform for a wider bed.

Full assembly instructions are provided.
There should be headboard fixing holes marked with stickers that need to be pierced with scissors. The headboard bolt is then put through the plastic washer into the hole and loosely tightened, allowing space to slide the headboard strut in between.
