Impressive
We bought this toaster with a matching kettle to replace a much more expensive pair and I have to say these are better especially the toaster. Its quick and gets the toast just right every time. Easy to clean and use. We really like it.

Nice, reliable toaster
The roaster looks very nice and matches my other appliances. It toasts four pieces of bread at once, and it toasts thicker slices of bread as well. It had 9 heat settings, so played around about to get the setting that is perfect for me. Controls are very easy to use, so perfect for me as why would you want to complicate toasting bread.

Simple toaster
Wanted something basic without loads of buttons and dials. Didn't think this through properly. You can't set individual toasting levels so even though its a four slice toaster you either both have to have toast the same colour or put one half through a second time as you can't toast 4 pieces separately. Also I started off on about number 3 which didn't even toast so I kept turning it up a level. It's now on the maximum level 9 but still doesn't do much and has to be put through a bit longer to get any colour on it. Wouldn't recommend

Perfect toaster for a family of 3!
Absolutely love this toaster. Very stylish, sleek design with indented accents in the mouldings that make it look really expensive and the colour keeps it classy in my kitchen. The toaster has 9 heat settings and I had to play around to get the family favourite settings, but once found, perfect! The toaster also has a high lift function to remove smaller slices without digging around and it easily toasts thick bread too. I love that it will toast crumpets and bagels as well as defrosting bread and with the cancel button and controlling 2 slices at a time, it’s very simple to use. Very easy to clean with the slide out trays and I love that I can buy a matching kettle to complete the look.

Defective toaster
Bought approx 4 weeks ago - disappointingly the defrost function doesn't work! Which I will have to now return for either a replacement (if available) or refund

Superb product
My pervious toaster was much more expensive and from a so called premium brand but this is a superior product in every way. Most importantly it can toast a standard slice of supermarket bread, no turning half way needed. The finish is completely even across the slice. The frozen bread function is very useful and worked well even with gluten free bread. The controls and simple and intuitive and the design makes the product easy to keep clean.

Easy to use and looks great
Great toaster for all the family. The 2 different sized slots makes it easier to toast thicker bread, crumpets and other larger items on 1 side while using the other side for normalsized bread. Easy to use and understand the instructions. I had to plsy around at first with the temperature settings to get the right one for toasting but very easy to use. Love the colour and can get matching kettles too. Easy to clean as the base slides out underneath

Easy to use
This is a great little toaster the lock feature really helps to get pancakes out of the slots. It toasts evenly and well on a variety of items. The colour is neutral and goes well in the kitchen, a matching kettle is available.

Hi Simon ! The loading handle won’t latch if you’re toasting one or two slices of bread and they’re placed in the left-hand slots, or if the toaster isn’t connected to the mains supply. For smaller batches, be sure to use the right-hand slots only.
Hi AJ, VTT997 does not fit warburtons bread.
