Customers Say
The ottoman bed is easy to assemble and offers great storage space. However, there are concerns about the quality, color accuracy, and some mechanical issues with the lift mechanism.

Ample amounts of storage!
I bought this product a month ago, it was easy to assemble, took less time then advised. It's originally quite stiff to lift but that became easier after a dozen or so times. It has loads of storage underneath and there's still room for more.

Average bed, but missing bits
Overall the beds does the job and once assembled, it looks smart. I've had it for 3 weeks now and it seems to be holding up. Putting it together I noticed the quality of the product isn't great, I had one missing washer and a stripped screw. Because they don't supply any spares, this is a problem. I was lucky because I have plenty of fasteners in my toolbox and found some in there. Furthermore, the fasteners supplied are very greasy to the point where my hands were black from the oil. The gas struts are plenty strong to hold and lift the mattress, but one if them is several times stronger than the other. On a positive note, the instructions were adequate bjt they did miss one step which meant I had to undo the middle beam to put the lifting strap in. With regards to the mattress, a double mattress will fit ok in the frame but there are gaps in thr corners and there is no retainer like you see with other bed frames. The springboards are very flimsy and, in my opinion, pretty short and the plastic holding them together isn't good quality. Overall, this will do the job providing you don't jump on it too much amd you have a good mattress. I will probably be buying a better one in a few years time. It falls into the "you get what you've paid for" bracket but of you're looking for a bed with storage for your spare room, then yes, it's a good purchase.
