I've used it clearing a privet hedge. It chews through fresh cut privet and the loads that had been cut a few months earlier. It's very quiet, no heating protection needed and you won't annoy your neighbors on a Sunday morning with it. What used to take 4 runs to the tip now takes only one.

Bought this to clear 20 metres of hedging.
Worked continuously over one weekend and handled the work easily.
Just need to pay attention to the thickness of the branches to ensure smooth shredding, also the branches must not have any other growth for the initial 30-40cms so they can easily fit through the guide.
The collection bin needs to be shaken occasionally to move the debris away from the shute otherwise you may experience some blockages, which is a bit frustrating.
Small observations on an otherwise great machine that made light work of a lot of hedging, shredding the whole lot down to fit into 2 green garden bins.
Very pleased with the purchase, the ease of operation and the impressive results!
