While the blackout fabric blocks light effectively, some light may filter around the edges depending on the curtain header, the pole used and position of the pole.

Last minute purchase that does the job
These curtains were bought as the only pair available that vaguely fit the needed size without alteration. Curtains do the job, and do an okay job of blocking out the light. They glide easily across the curtain pole, however the texture of them is slightly strange.

Lovely curtains
Love these curtains so much! They are a lovely texture and colour, and complement the room perfectly.They feel really good quality. Very easy to install, and once hung, I used a steamer to get the creases out, and they now hang beautifully. They are not blackout curtains, but are lined and keep the light out very well. Extremely happy with this purchase.
