Great TV, annoying remote
Bought this a month ago to replace a Hisense TV. It's perfectly suitable as a TV, brightness and resolution is great and sounds fine, but the remote connectivity is less responsive than I'd like - you have to wait a second or so after each button press for it to respond on the TV. Not ideal when you're trying to scroll through streaming services.

Wish I'd read online reviews more carefully before buying. This model has the stupid design of the push in connecter at the back which is moulded at the wrong angle. I dread dusting and/or and moving the TV as we then go through crackly and scary picture disruption until we have fiddled with the connector again. We have to go through various hoops of waiting time and trying to switch different items on first to make the Freesat box work without huge white bands appearing at the bottom of the picture. Three weeks on we have already given up watching various films and TV drama's as the sound is so appalling we just hear a muffled noise that prevents any clear annunciation. Very limited picture adjustments for colour and contrast and very weird picture if you are not looking at it directly on. As others have said, I won't be buying a Samsung TV again!

Hi if you wanted to view freeview channels you could install them on the tv by connecting to the main arial in the house then use an indoor ariel to connect to the tv in the bedroom. This is what we have done for my 97 year old nan as she just wants normal tv channels. She does not have internet and would not know how to use smart features. the Tv my sister was able to get is a smart tv with freeview but works fine with indoor Ariel. Indoor ariel easy to buy anywhere they sell tvs or online
