The Garmin HRM 200 Heart Rate Monitor gives you accurate heart rate and HRV data exactly when you need it. This comfortable chest strap sends real-time stats straight to your compatible Garmin smartwatch, cycling computer, or fitness apps, so you can track your effort across workouts, runs, rides and hikes. The easily adjustable XS and S strap weighs just 56g and stays comfortable during even your toughest sessions, letting you focus on your training instead of fiddling with your gear.
With up to 12 months of battery life from the user-replaceable 225mAh battery, you'll spend less time worrying about charging and more time moving. The strap is machine washable - just remove the module and toss it in with your kit. It connects via Bluetooth 3 to both iOS and Android devices and works seamlessly with apps from Garmin Connect. Garmin HRM 200
I bought this to replace my Garmin HRM Duel which unfortunately fell by the way side. Managed to get it connected to a Garmin Edge 500 which is quite old now, did this without any problems. Provides constant heart monitoring and seems to be good enough quality would recommend this to any novice cyclists

It could have been better
The device does its job, but if I don't have a Garmin watch and use an iPhone, the Garmin Connect app doesn't show my heart rate, so I have to use another app (Wahoo) which is not very convenient

Excellent product.
Bought this to go with a recently purchased Garmin Forerunner 255. Works perfectly in both wet and dry weathers. Pairing with the watch was straightforward. Data appears to be accurate.

The actual device works very well. The only downside is that to live track your heart rate, you have to use a third party app which are always full of pay walls etc.

No problems so far. Had to replace the old Garmin multi sport HRM because it became unresponsive . New one is an improvement at least because it has the light to tell you it is alive and in pairing mode. Also good that the module detaches from the belt for washing

Our supplier has advised the following for the Garmin HRM 200 Heart Rate Monitor - M to XL 'Yes you can wear this around the house etc but chest straps are designed to be used when tracking exercises such as a run etc.
If the user wants heart rate tracking for something simple around the house we recommend a Garmin watch instead. '
