This solid pine bedside chest comes with 5 generous drawers, ideal for keeping all your essentials organised. T-shirts, PJ's, socks, jewellery, all now have their own home. Painted white with contrasting pine top and button handle, this table has charm.
The chest has a lacquered layer on top to create a smooth, hardwearing finish. Decorate it with family photos or a candle collection. There's a small clearance from the floor, so you can even get the vacuum under there.

Decent set of drawers
A fairly decent set of drawers, by no means the best but they do the job. Ideal for the whole pants and socks thing. Not really deep enough for anything bigger than t-shirts but good no the less

Good Value with a couple of Buts
Assembly instructions were clear but fitting the cross members between the sides was nigh impossible for one person. Much easier to attach the top first! When I put the screws in to the cross members they came right through the side panels and split the outer edges. I the had to undo the screw a little and patch the split with wood glue, and of the course the paint finish was broken too. Perhaps a warning about not driving the screws in too hard would be useful.

Good solid piece of furniture
Purchased about a month ago, simple enough to put together. Did have one problem where one of the drawer knobs split when being drilled into place, but I was able to get a very swift replacement one free of charge in the post via the email included on the manual enclosed.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Scandinavia 5 Drawer Chest - Pine: ''The top panel of this chest has been tested according to furniture safety standards and, based on those results, we recommend a maximum load of 50 kg (evenly distributed) on the top surface.
A 15-gallon aquarium typically weighs around 65–75 kg when filled with water, substrate, glass, and accessories. This would exceed the recommended load capacity of the chest.
For that reason, we do not recommend placing a 15-gallon fish tank on top of this unit. A dedicated aquarium stand or a piece of furniture specifically designed for this kind of load would be a much safer option.''
