Car won't start after a cold weekend? This smart charger keeps batteries topped up for cars, motorcycles or caravans. It works with 6V and 12V batteries, including stopstart and lithium-ion types, suiting most vehicles. Battery Charger
My car battery was completely dead, I had no jump leads but bought the charger instead. The charger took 6 hours to fully charge... Only drawback is the instructions were in picture form, no wording, but it was quite easy to navigate it.

Great product terrible instructions
Once you can navigate and understand the horrendous instructions then you can appreciate how good the product is . I more or less scrolled through the mode button to understand what the picture instructions ment through pot luck . The machine took over an hour to charge the battery and the car started . So as a charger it's excellent . As the instructions they are terrible to understand

Ordered on click and collect, ready for collection next day, product performed as expected, however, boxed instructions poor, worked fine with instruction from Internet.

Paid £32. Good price for a 6A charger. Well sealed with no air vents required, so less likely to get damaged by the rain if left under the bonnect or the car.

Bought this as needed to check if my battery is failing rather than spend the cash on a new battery, plus it’s always handy to have. Took a while to charge the battery, but simple enough to connect to the terminals and leave to do its thing. Decided to buy this over an unknown brand from on line retailer.

Used this a few times for older Campervan that doesn’t hold battery charge as well as it could. Charger worked very well. Not too bulky, reasonable price and appears well made. So far so good.

When the battery is fully charged the screen will show FUL.
The charger then stops charging.
It then monitors the battery voltage and begins charging again if the battery voltage falls.

The supplier has advised the following for the Ring Smartcharge6 6/12v Smart Battery Charger:
This is a charger and not a jump starter, it won’t start a car at all. It will charge a car battery and, after up to half a day, the car should then start.
Bear in mind the battery must be more than 3 Volts.
If the battery voltage reads less than 3 Volts it will be too low for the charger to regard it as being in a chargeable condition.
