Excellent speaker, Loud enough for a family gathering, bigger than you may think. Karaoke feature is good too… although you will need to make sure you get your mic settings right as it can be very sensitive.

Since the JBL PartyBox Encore Essential 2 uses a newer wireless feature (Auracast), it is not compatible for stereo pairing with the original Encore Essential.
