So light, quiet and battery would last well!! Maybe 2/3 without charging!! Strimmer is nice aswell!! 2x battery's included, BONUS!!! Lowest cut is 22mm which is fine but last lawnmower had 20mm which was perfect.

Excellent product
I already have this item which I have used for years. The ease of use from corded to battery makes life a lot easier and safer , and with just as good if not better results. I purchased this item for my granddaughter to use in the garden in her new home as an alternative to having to use extension cables running from inside the house. as she has pets which and no longer needs to worry about them getting out and getting in her way or endangering her cutting or tripping on electric cables

Very impressive over all.
I bought these items 10 days ago and have used both twice so far. I had become increasingly irritated by having to manage cable and extension with my Bosch Rotak corded model which otherwise performed perfectly despite its age and, being more robust, felt easier to manouevre/manhandle round the lawn. In comparison, the handles on the Spear & Jackson feel decidedly flimsy, and the mower performs no better and no worse than the Bosch. However, the absence of cables is a big advantage, as is the trimmer, and the battery life is very impressive. On each occasion I mowed the lawn, trimmed edges and hacked through long grass without exhausting the single battery I was using and which recharged very quickly. The trimmer works better and seems more durable than another review suggests, and while larger exploded diagrams of the quick release handle fastenings on the mower would have helped so would better eyesight on my part. Overall, I would recommend the package with only the single caveat about sturdiness and expected lifespan.

Mower is great, trimmer not so much.
So far, after minor difficulties assembling (the instructions manual is not great!) the mower feels like an excellent buy. Very smooth and quiet in operation with a good adjustable cut, giving a nice stripe on the lawn. The grass trimmer tool is a little less impressive with a plastic wire line rather than a cutting blade. The plastic line wire is a pain - frequent stops and upturning the trimmer when it breaks off Otherwise very pleased.

I bought this 2 days ago and have cut the lawn for the first time in weeks on the top level and today 2 levels lower and it looks amazing. I cut all the allotment area today with the strimmer, first cut of the year….so first quite high and then a bit lower, again fabulous.

I bought this recently having used a Bosch corded mower for years. I can honestly say that it’s the best thing I’ve bought for the garden, it makes cutting the lawn so easy. I have managed to cut both lawns of 90 square metres each with one battery. I can’t understand why I haven’t purchased one sooner.

Keep the battery contacts clear of any small metal objects such as screws or staples. Ensure the batteries are charged before long periods of storage (e.g. over Winter).''
