About this product
Keeping your lawn neat takes the right tools working together. The Spear and Jackson Cordless set handles open grass and tight corners. It's powered by a brushless motor for consistent performance. You'll get two rechargeable batteries so one charges while you work. The fast charger means less waiting between tasks. The lawnmower creates striped finishes with its rear roller. A hybrid collection bag with full indicator shows when it's time to empty.
The lawnmower cuts through neat lawns and tougher grass without hesitation. Carbon steel blades on both tools deliver precise cutting every time. You'll adjust cutting heights using the central system. The trimmer edges borders and reaches under garden furniture. A flower guard protects plants as you trim around them. Both tools have foldable handles so storage takes up less space. It's a cordless set with batteries included. The set is backed by a three year guarantee.

Customers Say
Lightweight, easy-to-use cordless mower and strimmer combo with good battery life and decent cutting performance. Some concerns about build quality and durability, but overall good value for small to medium gardens.

Not too heavy for elderly user.
Bit of a faff to put together but all the bits were there and we were able to whizz round the lawn before the rain. Thankyou Argos for timely delivery by a polite and helpful driver.

Good for a small to medium lawn
My lawn is about 26sq/m with one battery it has cut and strimmed twice over so for me that's great, and the second battery makes it a long term purchase . The strimmer isn't going to be able to tackle a wilderness garden but for keeping the edges of your lawn tidy its quite capable, there is a guide on the strimmer which is useless as it only locks into place in one position which is a long way forward of the possible cutting line .

Good value mower plus Trimmer
Love this mower , light and easy with no wires to trip over just a plain and simple battery to slip into place . The mower is easy to push and manoeuvre around the garden and I am beginning to enjoy cutting the lawn . Plus I have a grass trimmer to cut the edges with it’s own battery , what more would you want 2 for the price of 1 Thankyou Argos

Good machines for light cutting.
This turned out a decent wee machine for light cutting. The battery life was ok, and it was handy to have two batteries, easy to charge and install in the machine. The strimmer is also good, a tad heavier than I expected, with a high level of vibration. I had to take a break as I was 'buzzin'! Again, easy battery charge and fit, did all the edges no bother. Good price for the pair.

Bargain combo set
Used a couple of times since I purchased earlier in the month. Setup was a little awkward however I had sorted both within an hour or so. This is actually a bargain combo set, having freedom from cord makes it much easier to get around the garden in no time. No frills set, I would recommend.

Electrical Fault
Bought this Spear & Jackson Cordless Mower, has i already have a Corded Model that has served well over the years. Initially i thought when assembling mower + strimmer, that they would be as good as my corded version, strimmer was excellent, lightweight and performed well. The mower i used on a pretty small lawn, cut well, was easy to handle. All good i thought, until i went to remove the battery, only to find the Isolator keys plastic body, and where the Isolator key fits had melted! So unfortunately, i have returned both items (came as a bundle) and had a refund. Not filled me with confidence to purchase another cordless mower, as a lot of models look very similar in constrution. Will have to carry on using my corded version until i find a suitable replacement. If not for this design fault, i believe it would be a pretty good mower.
