About this product
This highly versatile garden blower and vacuum will make light work of clearing your garden. The 3-in-1 performance means you can vacuum, blow and shred. This means you can clear your paths and gardens of leaves, blow to clear under hedges ready for mulching or simply shred it. When you use the shredding function while vacuuming, leaves are shredded into 15:1 compaction – perfect for mulching or composting.
All garden vacuums can get heavy when clearing large areas. This vacuum takes the strain with strong sturdy wheels and a shoulder strap. Use the wheels to support the weight and the strap to give you more control, so not to put strain on your back. The bag can be easily emptied by unzipping the bag over your compost bin – so you don't have to strain to take the bag off.
When using in blower mode, the variable control means you can adjust the air speed to clear light leaves or heavier hedge trimmings. It comes with an extra-long, 10m power cable to reduce the need for extension cables. For extra peace of mind Spear & Jackson offer a 3-year guarantee on all Garden Power products.

Very powerful but very loud as well
Very powerful but very loud as well. Really good to remove a dog hair from a carpet.
It is possible to vacuum synthetic turf however over time it could loosen the synthetic turf. I would advise sweeping instead.

I don't see why not. I would retract the comb-like thing for stirring up leaves. My son is Australia has AstroTurf so I am familiar with getting leaves and possum poo out of it. Cheers

This may depend on the level of wetness and the type of leaves, and the density of the stones so I am unable to give a definitive answer.
The Jackson Leaf blower does have a built in 'rake function' which is used to remove debris that may be embedded in grass or other surfaces which may be a better way to remove the leaves.
Hope this helps,

I can confirm the blower/vac does have a metal blade, however it is only designed for the blowing and suction of light and dry debris. Wet materials may lead to congestion in the shredder unit and reduced functionality.
Hope this helps.

It is wonderful for dry leaves but clogged up with wet leaves. Sadly, in Autumn most leaves are wet so it might turn out to be a waste of money after all.
