Bought this rug but once received found it far too thin - more like a thick cloth than a rug. Its a shame as the texture is very nice a soft to the touch. Have returned it and now looking at the thicker options from Argos.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for Habitat Faux Fur Cream Short Pile Rug - 80x150cm.
New rugs can have a smell when first opened, this will dissipate relatively quickly, open windows and leave to air.
I can also confirm that the rugs are not treated with any flame-retardant chemicals.
