Poor quality control has lowered my expectations
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] From the first power-on of the microwave, the cooling fan was so imbalanced, it vibrated through the appliance and to the kitchen floor. It was replaced under warranty but the appliance should never have left the factory in the condition it was in. Does anyone bench test them? I couldn't see any QC stickers or paperwork for this. perhaps there should be? Otherwise works OK but my 20-year old Panasonic microwave was still going strong and was much quieter in operation even with the replacement fan. Not money well spent.

Not fit for purpose
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This appliance has a riduculous fault that shoul There is a fundamental fault with this oven that needs to be addressed. The four interior clips that hold the oven shelf continually break for no reason and have to be replaced. This renders this appliance not fit for the purpose that it was designed for.

Product not fit for purpose C1AMG84N0B/04
We bought our Neff combi oven from less than 3 years ago in May 2023. It has broken down on several occasions and was repaired under warranty (warranty was extended by 6 months due to breakdown history). We are a 2 person household so the combi gets pretty low level usage. It has broken down again and we have been quoted £334 to repair (replacement fan £198.94 plus labour £104.40). Frankly we cannot afford to keep putting out good money after bad (cost us £961) and will instead scrap the product and buy a replacement (certainly not a NEFF product). It is disappointing as our previous NEFF microwave lasted 23 years.

Great new combination oven

Oven
I don't like that the oven goes off every time you open the door. There is no grill pan for items like bacon or cheese on toast. The plate warmer goes off after a certain time which is no good.

Dreadful Micro/combi oven model C1AMG84.1b/10
This microwave was a replacement for my previous microwave NEFF C1APG64NOB. It was replaced by NEFF because it had so many faults averaging 10 in the first 18 months. I did love the old one despite its problems and it performed perfectly when it was working. This replacement is terrible. I have had it 7 weeks so far and the clips that hold the shelf (terrible design) have broken already. NEFF are ‘kindly’ sending me some more but I am told they are not covered on the guarantee! You cannot slide the rack out to baste or remove things you are grilling. Burnt hands are numerous. The oven temperature is up to 30c degrees out, it also takes a long time to get to hot. The grill is pathetic unless used with the fan oven setting. The microwave thank goodness does work well. I would not recommend this to anyone. I am very disappointed with mine.

Beware of big change from previous model
I want to make potential buyers aware, that you need to remove the metal rack if using maximum power on microwave function which is different to the previous model. If you unfortunately leave in, you will cause sparks, fire and damage to your microwave after one week of using! It is in the instruction manual but only under accessories and in small print. I think Neff need to make this clearer.
