Decent curtain pole
Good value for money curtain pole. The rods slide in and out of each other very fast so care needed. I extended them to the right length overall then temporarily taped them together until finished. Tricky to tighten the brackets to the rods as very little room, need an angled screwdriver or ratchet driver really. Care needed when attaching the finials as they would fall off easily until tightened with the tiny (supplied) Allen key. Overall it’s a nice result but a bit fiddly and needs care putting together

The Argos Home Brass Extendable Curtain Pole - 110cm - 300cm is adjustable (telescopically) from 110cm-300cm. So you would just slide it to your required length.

This is able to fit 110cm to 300cm. As your window is 260cm then this will be within the range of the pole extension as the max it can go up to is 300cm. You can even have the 5cm overhang either side so that the whole window is covered correctly.

That still doesnt work the screw goes straight through as it doesnt touch the pole.
