About this product
The Vax Mach Air Revive is a lightweight upright that's built around multi-cyclonic technology, so you get consistent suction from start to finish. At 5kg, it's light enough to carry up and down stairs without much effort, and the 7m cord gives you plenty of reach around larger rooms. The motorised floorhead adjusts between carpets and hard floors, and the 1.5l dustbin means you can get through a fair bit of cleaning before stopping to empty it.
It comes with a 3-in-1 tool that handles dusting, crevices and upholstery, plus the hose stretches up to 1.3m so you can reach furniture and stairs without bending about. The multi-cyclonic design keeps the suction strong throughout, and the bagless bin empties without fuss. It runs at around 80 decibels, which is fairly standard for an upright. Works across carpets, hard floors, stairs and upholstery.

Had the same one many years ago, still the same quality, price and design that always works without a problem. Would have desired more modular attachments for harder to reach areas but can't complain that the brush that rotates and digs into the floor helps the different suction options from hard floors to deep pile carpets in capturing debris. Easy to disassemble and empty debris aswell as further cleaning to maintain optimum efficiency. Appears more quiet than my previous one and so is very welcome in a well insulated building.

This particular model is fixed and does not offer steering capabilities. However, the Steerable version of the machine is equipped with a roller ball mechanism that allows it to turn left and right for easier manoeuvrability.

The Vax Mach Air Revive Corded Bagless Upright Vacuum Cleaner is good on large pile carpets and rugs. This version has the ability to slide the vent cover open to decrease suction, if required on high piled carpets on the rotating brush head.
Also close the vent cover to increase suction, for maximum cleaning on hard floors.

Not really. Its awkwardly set up at the bottom and you have to disconnect from the bottom roller and reattach the hose.
