The suction is fantastic but the hoover is quite hard to move around , heavy and the hose and power cable is very short .

Fabulous Hoover!
I had my original Vax Mach Air Revive for approx 5 yrs and replaced with the same hoover. It's the best I've had over the years as it's lighter than other hoovers I've had and the suction is excellent so for me it's the best. I have 2 large dogs and this hoover picks up all their hair and leaves the carpet looking like new again! Has a long lead too. Well worth the money and lasts with continous use for years.

Good suction. Hose not good enough for stairs
Cleaning carpets and other floors is very good. very good suction. Unfortunately to hoover stair carpet I will have purchase a lot longer stretch hose . the extisting hose is too short even for the bottom 3 steps. Not able to go further unless another perso is there to hold the vax.

This particular model is fixed and does not offer steering capabilities. However, the Steerable version of the machine is equipped with a roller ball mechanism that allows it to turn left and right for easier manoeuvrability.

The Vax Mach Air Revive Corded Bagless Upright Vacuum Cleaner is good on large pile carpets and rugs. This version has the ability to slide the vent cover open to decrease suction, if required on high piled carpets on the rotating brush head.
Also close the vent cover to increase suction, for maximum cleaning on hard floors.

Not really. Its awkwardly set up at the bottom and you have to disconnect from the bottom roller and reattach the hose.
