This is our 2nd Vax Mach, a slight update on the previous model we had but essentially identical. It's a great vacuum cleaner, durable, very reliable and an excellent price point for what it is.

Broken in less than three weeks!
I purchased this three weeks ago, and it has already stopped working. The rotating brush no longer functions. I don’t have any pets, so there isn’t a significant amount of hair or debris in my home. I’m extremely disappointed with this product.

This particular model is fixed and does not offer steering capabilities. However, the Steerable version of the machine is equipped with a roller ball mechanism that allows it to turn left and right for easier manoeuvrability.

The Vax Mach Air Revive Corded Bagless Upright Vacuum Cleaner is good on large pile carpets and rugs. This version has the ability to slide the vent cover open to decrease suction, if required on high piled carpets on the rotating brush head.
Also close the vent cover to increase suction, for maximum cleaning on hard floors.

Not really. Its awkwardly set up at the bottom and you have to disconnect from the bottom roller and reattach the hose.
