About this product
The Bush Lisbon DAB FM Portable Radio brings your favourite stations into any room with a classic wooden cabinet design that adds a proper retro touch to your kitchen counter or bedside table. With 20 preset stations, you can jump straight to Radio 2, your local station, or whatever you fancy without scrolling through the lot. It handles both DAB and FM, and the LCD display shows you exactly which station you're tuned into. Plug it into the mains at home or pop in 4 x AA batteries (not included) when you want to take it to the garden or greenhouse.
The auto tune and auto scan functions sort out your station list without any fiddling, and RDS scrolling text on digital radio keeps you informed about what's playing. The sleep timer is handy if you like drifting off to a late night show, and the auto time update means you'll never need to adjust the clock yourself. It's compact enough to fit on a shelf or windowsill without taking over. Sound wise, it puts out 1 watt RMS, which is perfectly adequate for personal listening in smaller spaces. I've very happy with this radio. The sound quality is very clear and good, and it has a surprisingly decent volume. I use it in my garage/workshop and its perfect. It even sets the clock by itself!

Smooth Radio has moved to DAB-Plus, why Argos still think that a Std DAB radio will pick up smooth indicates to me that they dont really know what they are talikg about. I have an older DAB Radio from argos that has stopped tuning into smooth. When i reserched it, turns out i need a new DAB Plus RADIO. why Argos are still selling std DAB units, indicates to me they are not keeping up
