Good dryer
Good powerful hairdryer. The hairclips have an extra feature on the back like a comb that helps keep them in place. The paddle brush is nice. Removed one star because the lead is a bit short for my liking (I stand to dry my hair and my dominant hand is the opposite side to the plug socket).

Fantastic hairdryer!
I bought this hairdryer set on offer (£25 in Nov 2025) and couldn't be happier! It has a selection of useful attachments and doesn't leave my hair frizzy. I've not had it long, but so far it's been brilliand and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to my friends and family.

Powerful but much too hot
This hair dryer is very powerful on its highest setting but the standard heat on this is much too hot, so that you easily burn yourself. The lower power setting is cooler but it's too weak to dry your hair with it. The cool button makes it cold enough on the highest setting, but it needs to be constantly pressed to work. The rather heavy weight of the hair dryer makes it difficult to keep pushing it for long though. The short cable doesn't help either. All in all not recommended.

The TRESemmé Keratin Smooth Blow Dry Hair Dryer Gift Set 5543BU (742/6876) is not dual voltage. In the USA the supply voltage is 120V. If the appliance or its power supply are not dual voltage rated, the single voltage appliance will have to be used alongside a voltage transformer or converter to allow the appliance to work safely and properly.

it's not quiet....but not loud as my old one. I am drying my hair with my 3-month-old baby around and he doesen't look too disturbed.

Yes, I have naturally curly hair that's prone to frizz and it works really well. It's the best diffuser I've had. The bristles/prongs in the diffuser are soft rubbery material and create really nice curls, i find it works best on the lowest speed setting. Just be careful though my son was playing with it and pulled 2 of the soft prongs off. So great for hair, not so good as a toy!
