The keyboard is really smooth to use but the mouse is totally flat which personally I dislike. I wouldn’t get it again for this reason.

However, it includes 12 function (FN) shortcuts, which typically allow you to control volume and other media functions by pressing the FN key along with the corresponding function key.

Thanks for your query about the Logitech MK470 Slim Wireless Mouse and Keyboard.
Having checked to see, the USB dongle must be plugged into the device you're using the mouse and keyboard with as it connects them wirelessly to the device. Without knowing the brand, model, and age of the PC you have, I cannot give an exact answer but you do need to have a free USB slot on it for this to be able to work.
