The TV itself is great, had Sony Bravia before. I had not realised it was a 'google' TV, I'm used to Freeview which you can pause and rewind live TV which is a blow. Minimal paper manual, online manual hard to follow for us who lack tech skills.

Pensioners' plea!
It was very complicated to set up for pensioners. We could not remove the film on the screen. Thus we have a fuzzy picture. We could not work out how many films we could watch free.. 5 or 15? It is great to have a bigger screen a bigger picture.

Delighted with the Bravia 3
The review sites appear to be quite harsh about the Bravia 3 range but when grabbed at the right price this a brilliant little TV. Yes there is definitely some screen tearing especially with MotionFlow on. I always turn this off on TVs as it's jarring especially as most movies are natively filmed at 24fps. I have had no issues with black tones and the colour profile is where Sony shines. The Google TV UI is responsive and intuitive and the Smart remote pairs well with the experience. The sound is admittedly lackluster but if watching movies it's either through the sound system or headphones. For us this is a great TV, the build quality is as expected from Sony and I have no concerns about it's longevity and durability.
