Ideal for family laundry days, you can iron multiple layers at once - simply fold sheets or duvets and iron one side to halve your ironing time. another excellent product from morphy richards
i bout this 3 weeks ago as my old one stopped working and to be fair id had it quite a few years but this newer model is so much better and has a lot of great features including a good amount of steam so you dont need to iron both sides just the one side and the steam is forced through to the other side of your garments only note i would add is to make sure your ironing board has a mesh top so that the steam can penetrate the fabrics so glad i chose to purchase this product and not a cheaper one

Returned
Iron returned as it doesn't self regulate to the required temperature like my previous steam generator iron. Cannot comment on performance as didn't use it.

Thanks for using Q&A,
Hello Laundry queen,
The supplier has advised the following for the Morphy Richards 332013 Steam Generator Iron with Autoclean:
"You can place them on a ironing board that's absolutely fine. It's down to customers preference." The measurements of the iron's base are 10.5m (Height), 8.5m (Width), and 14.5m (Length).
(Due to it being a relatively large item, we’d also advise to consider that you’d need an ironing board that's large enough, strong enough, and stable enough for this to be able to sit safely upon it).
Thank you for using Q&A.
Good
It'll let you know when it needs doing.
Let it go cold, then fill the tank, turn it back on, then the descale light will flash(this is effectively the auto clean), press the button for descale, then when that's done it will stop flashing and start heating up, you can iron then. Remember to empty the dirty water out of the smaller tank and that's it done.
Hope this helps.

Hello,
BOOST FEATURE - The boost feature is time-controlled. The normal way to use the boost button is to press once and release, and a boost of steam, lasting approx. 0.5 second, will emit from the soleplate (assuming the base boiler has heated up and ready). The amount of boost steam is factory-set and lasts for only about 0.5 second, regardless how long the boost button is pressed. Once the boost feature has been used, it cannot be used again until 2 seconds has lapsed, meaning the user cannot continuously tap on the boost button and expecting continuous boosts. Also, the normal steam trigger button and boost button should never be pressed together. If they are pressed together, the boost feature will always prevail. - Morphy Richards
