Works wellgiving accurate readings
Brought this 2 weeks ago and it has worked very well giving accurate readings of both temperature and humidity

Does not function without additional Hub
I purchased this a couple of weeks ago and had to return it immediately in its box as I only then discovered you need to buy a seperate Tapo Hub unit in order for this item to function at all. This is explained on the Tapo website apparently but was not mentioned on the Argos website. I was refunded my money immediately by Argos when I returned the item so only my time was wasted.

Beware needs a hub to work
Great little temperature and humidity sensor seems accurate when compared against another leading brand, the only thing is it requires the tapo hub to function I missed this as it's not in yhr product description so had tk get one not a big issue as unlike others the hub isn't expensive

Integrates easily with Alexa
The sensor is well priced and is easy to connect to the Tapo hub and hence to Alexa. It provides readings for temperature and humidity but can only trigger Alexa routine based on humidity which is a bit disappointing as I wanted to use for switching fans on/off based on temperature.

I can advise that the Tapo T310 Temperature & Humidity Sensor requires an additional Tapo Smart Hub (H100 or H200) to function and connect to your home network, including Google Home.

- Yes, you can ask Alexa for the temperature.
- Yes, you can use the T310 as a trigger in Alexa routines—but only for temperature, and only if you’ve set it up via Matter. To do this, Ensure your Tapo hub firmware is Matter-enabled (H100/H200).
- No, humidity triggers aren’t available in Alexa routines yet.''

The TP-Link Tapo T310 Smart Temperature & Humidity Sensor can be used in a fridge or freezer, as long as the environment stays within its operating temperature range of -20°C to 60°C (-4°F to 140°F) and humidity range of 0% to 99%.
However, keep in mind that the fridge or freezer might interfere with the sensor's connection to the smart hub, potentially affecting app control and advanced features.
