About this product
The Jackson High Sleeper turns a small bedroom into a proper workspace and sleeping spot all in one. It's a single bed up top with a built-in desk, wardrobe, three deep drawers and shelf space underneath, so everything your child needs fits in one tidy footprint. The high sides create a secure and cosy sleeping area, and it's ideal for smaller rooms or where you need to make the most of the space you've got. Its sturdy design means it stands up to daily use through the years.
The ladder's fixed in position for stability, and wall-mounting brackets are included because it must be attached to a wall for safety, that's really important for raised beds. It's suitable for children aged six and over and tested for adult use too. The white finish with white handles keeps it fresh and works with most bedroom colours. Three parcels arrive flat-packed, you'll need two people for assembly. Maximum mattress depth is 16cm, mattress not included.

Fantastic buy
Very nice and tidy looking bed for a youngster who loves it, he says its comfortable and he feels safe in it. It was easy enough to assemble, although I had a bit of help putting some parts together. When it arrived all packaged it was extremely heavy and took two people to get it to the bedroom.the storage draws are quite deep and fit plenty of clothes in them. Once the bed was completed and in it's place, it's sturdy.

Sturdy, storage and value for money!
An honest review of a great value bed. We had our eye on the is bed for a while as our daughter has a small room and we needed the space. Firstly, this is a sturdy bed - it has given us the opportunity xtra storage and the size of the single bed is great. Building it, took 2 of us about 6hours, the instructions are clear and comprehensive but manoeuvring the bed as you’re building is tricky. The only drawback back we have found is our daughter is a little too tall for the desk, when sat at it. She is 9 and very tall but she can still make use of it. The hidden storage is a god send, plenty to hide things out of sight and hidden shelves behind the steps are helpful too. We think this is excellent value for money?is sturdy and the storage it gives is great.

Great bed once completed
The screws etc don’t come packaged in any order and not labelled well, instructions need looking into and the build has to be 2 men in an open space so in a small room this is not ideal and the draw section should be completed before the wardrobe section as this can break when turning the build round during installation

Happy little boy!
My son is really happy with this cabin bed. It took 2 of us about 4 hours to put together. It feels really sturdy. It would be nice if the desk pulled out a little, but generally the desk space is also good.

Almost everything you want...
If you’re reading this then stop. Find a different product. This is a shocking bad bed. I usually purchase from another flat pack maker (who have their own stores)…. This is nothing compared to them. The starting point is that this comes in three very heavy boxes. 45-65kg each, you can’t move them on your own and the weight of them means the boxes are prone to damage. The instructions aren’t very clear, and the labelling of the screws is very difficult. They come in paper bags so you cant see what screws in which are bag and they mix up different screws making it very easy to get the wrong screw and making it easy to put a longer screw than needed. This is a two man build, you cant do this on your own. The design of how this goes together is bad… there are times when you need to flip it over and there are pieces with one screw in it and it would super easy for it to break. It very cheap chip board and I also question the design as the back of the bed has no support. Its only held by the side panels. I have added some extra supports struts as I have genuine concern about strength and safety of this design. I had some missing parts for this bed, and wow… it was going to take upto 6 weeks to get the parts shipped out. 6 weeks! I contacted the argos support who gave me back my delivery of £6.95.. so thanks???? I then went to make a complaint. and I was met with you must write to head office for complaints… write.. I think I have gone back to the 90’s. Anyway after a lot of trial and error I managed to email the ceo, and his PA called me. I told her my issues, and they refunded me an extra £75. I asked them to look at the complaint’s procedure for Argos as a whole… as no one writes anymore. So summery. The bed looks good in the pictures, but in reality, it’s a shockingly poor flatpack bed. Don’t waste your time and money on this. I personally will never buy furniture from Argos again (habitat Brand). Hope I save you the frustration and disappointment I have had with this.

Great storage for a bed!
This was bought as fit for purpose in a small box room and it didn’t disappoint. The instructions were good but the actual assembly is often frustrating as well known in flat pack world 😁. Sturdy design and feels safe. We did research this and are very happy with our purchase.

Brilliant bed
This bed has been a life saver for us in a small room. We haven’t put the back board on the Wardrobe we hv put boxes with clothes for the next season and spare bedding etc the three draws are deep and big enough for undies and a couple sets of pjs my daughter loves it and easier for me to change the Bedding using a chair but better than a taller high rise we had before.
