About this product
This gaming monitor's designed for anyone who wants fast-paced games to look properly smooth without spending a fortune on a massive setup. The Acer Nitro KG241YX1 has a Full HD screen with a 200Hz refresh rate and a 0.5ms response time, which means you get virtually no motion blur when things get hectic. It works with AMD FreeSync Premium to reduce screen tearing if you've got a compatible graphics card. The display keeps detail crisp, and HDR support makes colours look richer and contrast sharper for a more immersive experience.
You get a couple of HDMI ports and a DisplayPort, so you can hook up your PC and a console at the same time without swapping cables. There are built-in speakers for casual use, though you'll probably want headphones for serious gaming. Brought this 4 weeks ago as a monitor for under the dartboard, not tried it out with anything else other than connecting my phone through a cable and does the job perfect, found the colours to be a bit too light and grey looking on anything other than the HDR setting which is perfect colour representation but again this could just be how I’m connecting it, had a really good offer on as well so couldn’t fault it one of the cheapest options available at the time with the added bonus of a second HDMI input when I will connect my Apple TV and firestick in future

It's designed to be a monitor not a TV so it's designed to be connected to another device, e.g. a PC or laptop. You can't just plug it into an aerial or set top box like a TV.
It does have speakers but, for audio out, you'd probably be best using your PC's own audio sockets.
